also called Bulimia...does it really make you skinny? There are too many people these days with eating deorders, and I will say that I used to be one of them. Being a dancer most of your life this will most likely be a bad habit, modeling too. But it really isn't the answer to being a size 6.
 
Well, you won't really gain too much weight, as food will be thrown up. But, it does SERIOUS damage to your body, especially over long periods of time. In the end, it may make you skinnier, but you will be a very unhealthy person.
 
Bulimia will not make you skinnier to the effect that would be desired by such actions...it will, however, completely ruin your esophogus, vocal cords, take the enamel off of your teeth, and will burn your fingers from sticking them down your throat and bringing up acid...it's definitely not good for the rest of the body either...I used to not eat...I guess you could say it was a mild form of anorexia...I don't recommend either method of weight loss...I say, exercise a bit, and don't binge, if you can help it. Your body is your temple, I've learned...as cheesy as it is...and food is AWESOME!!! (I'm on the seefood diet...I see food, I eat it!!! 😛) However, it has taken me a long time to be as comfortable, and as curvy as I am. Thank you for sharing yourself with all of us. That is incredibly brave.
 
losing weight is all about self-control and metabolism, not throwing up.

If ya wanna get into shape go play sports, improves your metabolism which enables you to eat alot of things without gaining weight

if u want to loose weight u need to lift weights to gain muscle which burns more fat, eat more but smaller meals to speed up ur metabolism. and watch what u eat.
 
you actually weight more if you lift weights...sorry but I don't want to look like a the rock's sister..there is actually something that does work well, all you need is rhythm, I've been doing it for the past 2 months, it works every muscle in your body, it's called dancing...now I don't mean ballet and all that mess,trust me it's hell I've been through it for 4 years...go to a club, dance alone or find a date, and just dance the whole night...me because I live in the middle of nowhere, there aren't any clubs available, so get some music and dance in your room or living room wherever..but it does work I've lost about 15 pounds.
 
LOL! i love how girls think there going to get huge by working out. if it was really that easy to get big steroids wouldnt exist. and ur absolutely right muscle is more dense than fat. however, muscle is also much smaller for that one pound of fat would be. so if u lost 15 pounds of fat and gained 15 pounds of muscle, the scale would tell u the same thing but all ur clothes would be loose on you.
 
well I'm not really into working out either, my workout is at a club dancing, I love to dance. I'd rather dance then spend it at a gym with a bunch of smelly sweaty people. and I suggested dancing to girls because there are many girls that I know that don't feel comfy enough to go to a gym with a bunch of guys.

dancing is a great activity. not just for weight loss but for great heart health as well. i can't dance well enough to go to a club and be electrifying like the rock or a hollywood celebrity but you can put on a record (those big round things) in your room and groove. i also find good old fashioned rock and roll works great. put a little twisted sister or quiet riot and let the music power you to headbang and jump around. it is like sos totally awesome baby!

another easy thing is just plain walking. if your neighborhood is not safe to walk then buy a treadmill. do a hour or so a day and you lose some weight.

now my final thought is only lose the weight if you want to. screw what others say. there is only one bastard or bitch who can critize you and that is the sob i nthe mirror. once she or he is happy then you have gotten what you want. if anyone else do not like the way you look, then look them right in the eyes and ask them who i nthe blue hell do they think they are. then you need them to take there diet drugs, shine them up real good, twist them sideways and stick them straight up there candy, fat asses. if they still got a problem then kick them i nthe jimmies and give them a stunner, or is called a diamond cutter or is it called a rko. anyway you get the idea. just be prous of who you are and go styling and profyling in your own way.

now if you ain't down with that then i got two old school words for you:

SUCK IT!
 
if you are a punk I would recommend going to a punk show or something, and get in the pit...you might get punched or bruised a little but hell bruise 'em back....you get extremely sweaty and you actually do feel good because it's like a work out moshing in the pit.
 
a little after i typed my last post, i was in my room and a old song called rebel yell came on. i was pondering that if you listen to this a few times while headbanging you can burn some serious calories. then if you lower your calorie intake, you can lose weight.
 
I don't really think headbanging will do anything, it just makes you get a headache and feel a bit light headed. I prefer to skank, those of you that don't know what that is..well it's a punk mosh/dance thing.
 
i never heard of it but it sounds like totally outrageous. as far as headbanging it dos burn calories. i mean think of it. you shouting to some gnr while you jumping up and down and shaking your head and fists in the air. do that for a few hous a day and you burn some fat calories but you also get a cardiac workout which is great for your health
 
yeah but there is a small risk of getting over heated, especially if your at like a concert or something, and neck injury....I really wouldn't recommend headbanging.

Dancing, or any other cardiovascular activity (i.e. running, aerobics, racquetball, basketball, sex--err, nevermind. Mind's been in the gutter all week.), is probably the best thing for burning fat. Also, as far as eating habits, one of the worst things one can do is to STOP eating entirely. All this does is slow down your metabolism so that you maintain your weight even more, and then when you do eat, all you do is gain weight. Also, instead of eating 1-3 full-sized meals, eat about 5-6 times a day, but mostly snacking. It's good to try to keep yourself occupied throughout the day so that you don't think about eating much, except maybe a few snacks here and there while you work, or do whatever. When I'm at work, my buddies all know me as the guy who's always eating something, whether it be a box of Ritz crackers, cereal, or a pound of salami that I'll casually grab slices from to munch on while I'm working.
