What tv show did you watch from the past or currently watching that you would want to buy the dvd set when it comes out to stores?

My choices are

1) Prison Break
2) House MD
3) Shark
4) Numbers

Thanx Aurora5150.

She-ra was Aurora's secret Identity, right. And She-ra took place
in the year 5150?
:bouncybou

I'm gonna buy 'Get Smart', the Complete Collection.
Not sure if I'm gonna buy it online from Time-Life, or wait til it hits the stores in the 3rd quarter 2007.

Ally McBeal--and The Kids from C.A.P.E.R. (No, nobody remembers that show. That's why it's not out on DVD. LOL)

Well I have Fawlty Towers and Blackadder from the BBC on DVD.
Also I have Futurama and Family Guy.
Ones I will be buying once I can are....
M*A*S*H
Cheers
Frasier
The Nanny

Just to name a few....

Rob

I have, or have borrowed from friends:

(Thanks, Max!)
Veronica Mars
Scrubs
Buffy
Angel

(Thanks, B!)
Lost
La Femme Nikita
Grey's Anatomy

(Thanks, Jillian!)
The Sopranos

(Thanks, Jeff!)
Entourage

I HATE live TV and commercials, but watching on DVD makes it that much more pleasant, especially when people with similar tastes recommend a show.

Oh yeah, I've also got Profit (which I adored when it was on originally)
and Wonderfalls. The nice thing about DVD's of shows which went off the
air before they finished the season is that you get to see where the creators were going. I have a friend who has taped all of Smallville for me, but there are some commercials in there.

Oooh Drew! You have the Prisoner! I watched that when I worked for a public TV station, and also have (had?) the full compendium book on the Prisoner somewhere. That was an excellent show. And Mrs. Peel, too. Love those catsuits!

The Prisoner: Complete series, 17 episodes
The Avengers: The complete "Mrs Peel" box set, 1962-1967
The Beatles Anthology: Eight disk set
24: Seasons 1-5 (Ongoing)
Smallville: Seasons 1-5 (Ongoing)
Evangelion: Complete series (anime)

Soap: Season one
Fraser: Season one
Seinfield: Seasons 1-2.
Friends: Seasons 1-2.

There's so much good and worthwhile classic televison that never will be released on DVD cause companies rarely know what quality televison is these days. Bootleggs are the way to go honestly for my tastes. But for what was actually released, for me my choices are:

Rockford Files (Seasons 1, 2 & 3)

Incredible Hulk (Season 1)

Charlie's Angels (Seasons 1 - 3)

Police Woman (Season 1)

Starsky & Hutch (Complete Series)

Kojak (Season 1...get the rest through bootlegg)

Doctor Who - New Beginings Boxed Set (the trilliogy of classic episodes that went from the end of Tom Baker into Peter Davidson's first episode...gonna need the region 2 DVD player for this one since its an import lol)

and just thought Id mention...I went the bootlegg rout recently with my good bud and we got the entire series of "Vega$" with the late great Robert Urich. Quality varied but well worth it and watchable for the cheap price of 30 bucks payed for 15 DVDR's.

I have:

Punky Brewster(Season 1)
Frasier(Seasons 1, 2, 3, and the Final)
The Waltons (Seasons 1 and 2)
Happy Daze(Season 1)
Little House on the Prairie) (Season 1, 2 and maybe more)

I want

The rest of Frasier
The rest of The Waltons
The rest of Little House
All Full House Seasons
All Fresh Prince seasons
All of Will And Grace

Own:

Seinfeld
Moonlighting
King Of Queens (Leah Remini, HOT!!!)

At some point I will purchase all seasons of 24 and all seasons of Homicide: Life on the Streets.

"Charmed," of which I currently have seasons one, four, and seven. Thus far, that's the only one I want because that's the only one I watched faithfully from premier to finale and still watch in reruns on TNT.

I personally have...

Law and Order
Law and Order Criminal Intent
Law and Order Special Victims Unit

I am waiting for Without a Trace.I like to watch those types of shows, now am starting to watch CSI.I see more box sets in my future... :bump: :bump:

I have all 5 seasons of Queer as Folk. I have 3 Seasons of Pokemon on DVD... Yes, I love Pokemon, sue me!

As much as I want to make fun of you about the Pokemon, the Silent Hill sig buys you some respectability. Yet the urge to make of the Pokemon is rising!
