Now I'm not that active myself in the general discussion or tickling forums. I usually stick to the anime media and original artwork forums seeing as how I'm an artist and thats the only reason I'm here.
I suppose I don't get more involved in this forum or the tickling one for several reasons. One, I feel I'd be attacked for having a different point of view, second, I'd be ignored for having a different point of view, or as you put it, be insulted for only speaking my mind. There is a certain level of exclusiveness on this site, and if you aren't 'in', your 'out'. Because of an "underdeveloped" fetish, we'll say, its hard for me to get close to any of you, and from where I stand, some of you almost seem obsessed.
I've been watching you however, and a certain ammount of other people here, and I must say, your leaving would be a loss to this forum. Some may think your unstable, or too quick to anger, but there needs to be a balance. You've got your goody two shoes, your indifferent folks, your gloomy gusses, your goof offs, your two-faces, and your hell raisers. Without a generous mixture of each of these classes a forum is unstable. There are simply not enough people like you being bold enough to stand up and say something without fearing the reprocussions. Some may say thats irresponsible talk, and your only asking for it, but so long as you word yourself correctly, there shouldn't be a problem.
I respect the degree to which you share your opinions, and I often get a laugh out of you and others when you DO bash eachother. Everyday this site makes for something to laugh at. Not in a bad way, mind you. I don't want to lose this. The only reason I come here is to show some of my art to people that want to see it. But lately, this place has been hostile, and the war, or current events are no longer a valid excuse in my opinion. People here seem eager to prove someone else wrong, and jump at the chance to sabotage or boody-trap someone's thread or lead it astray and off topic. This very thread for example, is already off topic, and thats not very respectful to you, especially that your leaving.
A man of your stern nature is required here. This site keeps getting goofier and goofier, that sometimes I wonder if its not a cartoon. Threads are made for no damn reason, and people spam like theres no tomorrow, or at the drop of a dime.
It is people like you that balance this out. You offer very sound, very serious discussions and debates so that others who also wish to be serious about it can join in. Even if you are out of line sometimes, you more than make up for it.
It is my hope, that even though I'm a stranger and a faceless nobody to you and almost everyone else here, that you'll listen to what I said, and reconsider leaving. Don't let them have their way. You have this spark, see. Even though it causes unnecessary troubles sometimes, its a genuine spark that shouldn't be extinguished for anybody or anything.
Please don't leave! Toon Town, umm...I mean the TMF needs you!
Although, it is your decision, and your decision alone, and I respect that. I only wonder now if people are assuming anything about me for even talking to you, however. Well, whatever. It was worth it.
