My next guest is a fixture here on the TK story forums and, for me, his works have stood apart in intensity of emotion and attention to painterly detail when it comes to turn of phrase. Anyone can bang away on a keyboard, but the artistry of true authorship transcends the structure of language to where words become as 16 million colors on a palette with all the infinite beauty of combinations the artisan sees. Look for them in this small offering by Marquis de Sade, and appreciate the difficulty; asking for a full story in a mere 1100 words is like asking a Grand Master Chef to prepare a banquet with a hot plate. I proudly host 'the artist' Marquis.

C.A.B and Marquis de Sade - truly a meeting of talents. I am very excited to see the product of a collaboration between two of the best creative minds this forum has ever had the pleasure to host.

I love the art and am becoming more of the opinion that anticipation, trepidation, gloating, trembling and all these other things that occur before the inevitable can be just as sweet as the act itself and this is expertly displayed here.

The story is classic Marquis with its staccato beats and just enough to detail to thrill. I am impressed that the writer has come in under the word limit - no mean feat at all.

This is one to savour for the ages!

Fine story and wonderful illustration. :feets:
Thanks to both of you. 😀

Thanks guys. And a very special thank you to C.A.B. for the invite to work with him in the first place. The invite itself gave me the best feeling as it proved I was doing something right on many levels. The attention given from an artist who consistently blows you away with their work is quite humbling. There was probably a month in between receiving the pic and my finding the time to speak its thousand words and I felt a little bad for being busy. In hindsight though that stretch of time worked well as I would stare at the pic constantly and by the end of it, I felt as if I really knew her. I had time to find the song to write to and could dream the pic up from memory for reference.

This was quite the experience, one of my absolute favorites in fact, from invite to hitting "Send".

Suik - I surprised myself coming in under the word limit. Thanks again to C.A.B. and thanks also to Sound Siren for mutually pointing out that I could add to what I originally submitted. If I hadn't, I'd be kicking myself very, VERY hard right now.

Thanks Jagermeistered. I sure hope there. I enjoyed the process of the collaboration and the shared creativity immensely. 🙂

Here's to two of the best!

Would you please try it again sometime? ASAP maybe?

Loved it. Thanks to you both.
