Debating the issues and arguing the point are two things most of us do almost every day. What got out of hand in this tread were all the personal attacks where crude and insulting language was used. But I agree we should have a truce since this is a tickling forum and website and that's what most of us want to read about when we use this website.

Members suspended

This truce was called in an attempt to restore peace at the forum by voluntary means. Unfortunately, repeated warnings and post deletions have not had the desired effect: to make clear that this forum is not the place for disruptive behaviour.

The rules state:

The basic ground rules for discussions on the TickleTheater are simple: be polite, use common sense ...

....

We take the "be polite" rule very seriously! We do not tolerate any rudeness. Any member who is intentionally unpleasant or disruptive will receive one warning (at our discretion). And if the member offends again the member will be banned without warning. This goes for private messaging as well.

Mutual combat has persisted despite this truce, and cannot be allowed to continue without sanctions. Therefore, certain combatants are being suspended for three days as a cooling-off period. Hopefully no further action will be necessary.

Please note: creating new accounts or otherwise posting on TT, or sending the staff argumentative private messages during the temporary ban, will result in a permanent ban.

The user Vladislaus Dracula, being a private-forum moderator, cannot be physically suspended; however, ANY use of his account for the next 72 hours will be considered a violation and will be dealt with by TT. This includes PMing staff members.
