LOST ALL RESPECT FOR YOU!!! I have been rooting on Rutgers for as long as I can remember. Rutgers has never won anything. I root for Ohio State because of Sadira. She actually went to school there. But if Ohio State and Rutgers ever met up, I would root on Rutgers. Izzy, don't ever jump ship. It is just plain wrong.

um i'm not jumping ship...didn't you read what i posted? i will continue to root for WV...as i did for the Chicago Cubs..

anyway WV beat their rival last night..Pitt..the combo of Slaton and White is fantastic..

Actually if Ohio State won, it would give you more of a chance because Michigan is in second. If Ohio State lost, they would fall to second. If Michigan lost, they would fall further back. Don't you see that???

No matter who wins this weekend USC is moving up to #2. Ohio State is a mere .03 ahead of Michigan, hardly a lead. For glamour purposes the winner of this weekend will probably play the winner of USC/Notre Dame if USC beats Cal. If Cal wins...just put two teams in a hat lol, pick 'em and let them play 🙂.

To stay on topic. Slaton and White are dynamite. I don't know if either of them are seniors, if they aren't they could be preseason #1 next year.

Slaton and White are both sophomores...so they will be back next year..WV moved up one position to seventh place..Michigan is still second, i think..it was a hell of a game..I'm predicting they will have a re-match for the National Title..with Ohio State that is..

Here is what we learned today, West Virginia just isn't that good. Now they MUST beat Rutgers and have Louisville lose to UCONN next week to win the Big East.

Louisville needs to beat UCONN and a West Virginia win over Rutgers to win the Big East.

All Rutgers needs to do is beat West Virginia to win the Big East.

What on earth happened? I was coaching at a wrestling tournament yesterday and missed the game. I saw a few lowlights of interceptions,but that doesn`t necessarily tell the story.Was the run game completely shut down? Were they so far behind that they were forced to throw?Or was it just poor play calling?Whatever it was,kudos to Southern Florida.

West Virginia turned the ball over FOUR ( 4 ) times. They were a minus two in turnover ratio. South Florida outgained West Virginia 363 to 310 in yards. South Florida's defense kept White and Slaton both in check and forced the other players to step up. They obviously did not step up enough. South Florida executed their gameplan to perfection. West Virginia did not. We found out yesterday that West Virginia can be beat in their house.

WV had a good run, but it was never in the cards. Besides, even if WV went undefeated (sorry...took a second to say that with a straight face 😀 ), the good ol' boys at the BCS would find a way to make sure the championship game was Ohio against either USC, Michigan or Florida anyway.

Hey,thanks for the quick recap/summary,Ticklingfeet4fu! I hated to miss the game.I thought that it might be close,as USF is actually a very dangerous team to play.Still,I really thought the Mountaineers would pull this out.Again,kudos to USF!

If nothing else,this should make for a great game against Rutgers! I don`t think you can hold those sensational sophomores down two games in a row.Let`s go Mountaineers! Let`s go Mountaineers!

Hey guy,

WVU aint got no chance after yesterday. I can't believe they choked it off against USF. What a rooty boot to lose to. My team, Oklahoma, won their game yesterday. And thanks to Texas A & M, we are the south champions.
Now we go up against our long time opponent, Nebraska. Just hope we win.
I think it's gonna be Ohio St. and Usc in the championship game. If it turns out that way, I'll be pulling for Ohio St.
It's been a wild year in college ball, and this season just proves we need a 16 team playoff and to hell with this bcs bs!!!

Just an opinion, but I think the surprise team this year in college ball has to be Arkansas. Anybody have a different opinion???

I disagree with you Dave. It will be an important step for the school. I mean winning the Big East is no small feat there. The fact that they could win the Big East and play in a BCS game is a BIG step in this school being a legitmate football program. So from that sense, it is a huge game. Not just for the school but to Louisville who wants to win the Big East as well.

well WV is out of the running of course for the National title..however it was one heck of a game against Rutgers on Saturday...three overtimes???? wowo..very exciting..and next year White and Slaton will be juniors..one hell of a team..so maybe next year they will have a better chance..with that being said, have they announced the Heisman Trophy candidates?
