Casting actors in alternate-race roles?

i'm against it

i think the roles shouldn't be played with. i further believe it's done in the name of the all mighty god "p.c."
another bugaboo for me is changing the sex of characters, i.e: "star buck" in "battle star galactica".
that being said, 2 of my top 5 favorite actors are lou gosset, and morgan freeman. both men can play the shit out of any role out there!
they are so good they can take any new role and run away with it. they have stared in movies where the roles were originaly white guys, and stole the show. i think it's because they are pros, and race doesn't enter into it for them.

You know what, this Megan Gale might not be such a bad pic. Being a model she is probably very tall, and if she has time, if she gets a trainer, she could probably put on a few pounds of muscle before the movie starts. Would she I don't know, but I don't think she is that bad of a choice now that I've taken a better look. The rest of the cast will suck for sure, except for Common as John Stewart and Armies Hammer as Batman.
