Celebrating Community History -- HELP!

I'm in the midst of a new venture that I hope will help to strengthen and further unite the online community...as a whole, not just here at the TMF. I've started a new site and yahoo group where we can work on things and celebrate who we are. (read here for more info. - http://www.ticklingforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53819 )

One part of this new venture will be to gather data to put together a history of the online tickling community. We hope that this will be one way of reminding everyone that we have more in common that we have differences. Since I came into the community later than many, I'd like to ask you pioneers out there for your assistance. If you can be of any help in putting this together, it would be much appreciated. I have a few folks I plan to write in person to ask about this. But, I'd like to hear from as many folks as possible.

NOTE: This is not simply going to cover the early days. So, I'd ask anyone who currently has a site to write up a quick line or two about when it got started and how...and whatever else you'd like to add in.

History of TK communities

My own website www.Haltickling.de was initiated in November 03 and opened on February 23rd, 04 . It's a combined English/German forum.

I decided to open my own website when Yahoo deleted 6 of my 7 groups, because I still wanted to share my rich collection of tickling-related material with the TK community. But I couldn't have done it myself: A fan of my tickling stories did all the technical work and even sponsors my domain! Thanks, Goury! 🙂 And thanks to the almost 4000 members who have signed on until now, you keep my will to go on alive! 😎

I believe the earliest anthropological records of the tickling community date back to cave paintings, circa 900,000 B.C., originally discovered in Ethiopia. A tribesman is depicted poking the ribs of a laughing female with a branch. The first reply read, "why no foot?"

I'd just like to note not to forget the old Camp Tickle website, it was my first tickling website I ever saw...what happened to it?

I believe the first American settler who tickled was the turkey plucker with the Pilgrims way back in the good ole good days. I believe his name was Jebudiea Von Tickle hmmm ahh yeah thats it!!!😀
