Celebrating Ten Years in Business!

Greetings friends,

Ten years ago this month the first issue of “Tales from the Asylum” was released and MTJ Publishing was born. We have released over 230+ publications during this time and I have had the opportunity to work with some of the best authors and artists the genre has to offer. I look forward to working with many more during our next ten years in business.

In celebration of this milestone event we have been working hard on a project that is near and dear to my heart. On August 27th we will be releasing the long over due 30th issue of “Tales from the Asylum.” This special ten year anniversary issue will be in digital PDF format and over 100 pages in length. Jam packed with excellent tickling fiction and bursting at the seams with amazing art. There will also be a few surprises that I will not reveal until the day of release.

Issues 24-29 of TFTA will be released before the 27th starting with issues 24 and 25 today.

Also in celebration of this event from now until 12 AM September 1st the first ten issue of TFTA will be $5 each!

"Tales from the Asylum" was a godsend for me back in the day. Finally , there was a publication for me to enjoy that catered solely to my interests ... & not only that , but the content was always first-rate.

I was also very honored to be able to contribute to a few of those issues. Believe me , that is something I will always take great pride in & I can't thank you enough for all the kind words you had about my work back then & the confidence you helped to instill in me.

Supporting the core of illustrated tickling fiction are articles, letters, art galleries, and comic strips that all revolve around the subject of tickle torture. You will not find a magazine past or present with such a comprehensive devotion to the subject of tickle torture.

Big congratulations to you guys! I remember first stumbling upon your magazine in a comic book store in Boston, and becoming incredibly turned on (despite the fact that I'm into M/M tickling). It was the early days of the internet, and there still wasn't a lot of content out there.

I was amazed by the quality of the art and the stories in your publication. I think seeing your work in print planted a seed in my mind that I should put my talents into something similar someday. 10 years later, that's exactly what I'm doing.

The cost of printing prevents us from returning to a hard copy format. But perhaps at 20?

I'm away far too long, it seems. 10 years????? Holy crap. I remember talking to you on the phone for the first time about stories to be included in the magazine. Of course, this was way back when paper was still the preferred medium for such things.

Congratulations my dear friend. You have paved the way for so many and given commercial visibility to so many more. I wish you continued success and hope to, one day, be a part of it again.
