Chat room problems?

Is anyone else having issues getting into the chat room? I keep getting error messages.

Chat room is down. We are aware and have a service ticket in.

I'm getting the same thing, Becca. That Java thingy just sits and spins and nothing happens. Sometimes if I wait long enough it changes to a gray-out, un-clickable "Connect" button. I was getting messages yesterday that I had software the chat room uses that was out of date. I updated, but still have the same thing happening. The messages to update are gone, but I still get the spinning Java thingy and no entry.

Flash updated today and disabled a nice lot of java enabled stuff for me behind the scenes. Its just the typical company wide tit for tat. This is Flashes way of getting back at the java assault on flash run applications from a few weeks ago. Like we were saying the other day in the chat room it'd be nice to have an industry standard so that we didn't have to put up with this ridiculous USA vs Europe company spat.

Thanks to Myriads and anyone else working on it. Yeah, I was trying a bit this morning, also glad to know it wasn't my reluctance to upgrade my OS.
