2 totaly different people! But there is a relation. Tony Thompson was the drummer for Chic and unfortunatly passed away earlier in the year. Nile is the only remaining member of Chic. Nile recently worked with Cerrone on his latest LP "Hysteria"..but now we venturing into the classic disco/r&b/current house territory LOL. Anyhow, beings Chic is one of my alltime fave R&B/funk/disco groups I had to make this correction. Dunno if anyone else did..didnt look but I doubt it😛

All of them I knew the answer to have already been answered by others, so I won't waste posting space with repeats. I do have one question though....

"6) What band was famous for requiring brown M&M's be removed from thier backstage buffet?"

I noticed everyone is answering Van Halen, which is likely the answer (I honestly don't know). But I thought I remembered hearing somewhere that Ozzy Osborne had a similar practice. I think in his case he either wanted all red or green M&M's removed, or he would only eat red or green M&M's. I could be mistaken, though.

13 is metallica

Actually, 13 is Savatage. I am a huge fan, and the song Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24) is both on a TSO album and the Savatage album Dead Winter Dead.

As for the others, I will give a look later and think it over

14. YYZ was the airport code for Toronto, the band's hometown

12. I know Grateful Dead sang it, too. That's the first band I heard it.

#2- Jon Anderson sang on every Yes album except 1980's Drama, that had Trevor Horn on vocals.

#6- Definetly Van Halen, one of these shows, they accidently got the brown M%Ms and mushed them all into the carpet of their backstage buffet

#12- Not sure where the lyrics originated, but I picked up a Folkways cd of traditional Irish music a few years back, and there was an accapella version of "Whiskey" on it.

The lead singer of the "Buggles" did the lead vocals on that one.
