Cleaning Your Feathers

Is this most of everyones tried and true ways pf cleaning feathers or... how else would one go about this process?

My pretty white feather is turning yellow because of tobacco use. (I'm so happy I quit! But my Bf still smokes.) 🙁

A little bit OT but congratulations for quitting! It's not easy, and requires quite a bit of strength. No offense to your boyfriend, but smoking is an awful habit that you have been very wise to shake off.

Could the discoloration potentially be linked to coming into contact with skin oils, if not from cigarette smoke?

Maybe. I just tossed them and got new ones. No time for cleaning. Or more accurately, too lazy for cleaning.
