C'mon. Grow!! Grow!!!

I have friends at our farmers market and get tons of veggies for dirt cheap and no hassle. I just go and buy no planting not work nothing just cook and eat... yum!!!!!

Now all you need is to do this: <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/BUelB-OSneY&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/BUelB-OSneY&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

That might be a bit drastic for my tastes. LOL

Hey! Weren't you in Louisianna or Mississippi not to long ago?

Yeah, I used to live in Louisiana, but that was a few years ago.

The garden is officially planted. I have yellow and red cherry tomatos, beefsteak tomatos, broccoli, carrots, white onions, and sweet bell peppers. And along with the family of vorpal bunnies who live behind my house I also have two gnomes now to help guard my garden.

That's the silliest garden in the making. Good luck. :cheer:

Silly? You say silly? Well, perhaps. But here's one for you. I am attempting to get a stand of asperagus started. If it takes hold I will have it spread a bit for a year or two. Right now Asperagus is $3.99 a pound in about every grocery store around here. Following my train of silly thought yet?:yayzorz:

Once you get asparagus going you'll be the envy of your neighborhood.

BUMP!!!

Asparagus?? :xlime::xlime::xlime:

Just a little update on what's happening in the backyard. Venray Gnome and Classy Gnome are very good luck indeed. Onions are doing fine, sweet bell peppers are right on schedule, yellow and red cherry tomatoes are starting to bud and looks like they will produce early this year, broccoli is budding and looking good, carrots are due to pop through anytime, and this will really excited BrightEyes.......my asperagus which every body laughed at and told me was dead.......has now five new sprouts with more coming. In about two years I will have a good stand and be able to cut fresh asperagus shoots whenever I want in season. So when Mondy visits I will make her plenty steamed asperagus to eat.

Yes, I am that generous.

I'm jealous of your garden. One day I shall have my own house and piece of property...then? We're going to have a grow-off. 😀

My dear Purry, if the timing is right I would till the garden plot for you and even a few places around your new home for roses. The roses would never be as lovely as you though, try as they might.

^What a romantic that you're turning out to be.^

Are you getting enough rain for your garden, or do you have to water it?

You must have missed meeting her when you came to NEST, Carl, or you'd be writing poetry to her.

I have three gallon jugs of water ready and at air temperature at all times. So with the rain we've been having I have also supplimented with a little water of my own.

Did you plant any corn? It will be knee high by the 4th of July around here.

I didn't plant sweet corn Carl. We actually have some corn crops about chest high now.

All this water was to much for my carrots so now I have to re-plant. :cry1:

Sonovabitch!! :Grrr:
