Fruit of any kind works for me. If I'm feeling in the mood for more sweetness, hot cinnamon apples are always good.

As for sopapilla, it's pronounced so-pah-pee-ya. It can be made a bunch of different ways, but the traditional way is like a hispanic fried pastry bread. You can have honey with it, or various other things like cinnamon and sugar. My favorite recipe for it though is here (because it has cream cheese. DELICIOUS):

Haha, can't say I have. I'm not much of an adventurous eater, not even when it comes to fast food. XD
And since I'm a native Kentuckian, I may as well mention KFC. It may be greasy and all, but ya gotta admit that it's good stuff. 😀

Hmmm, thinking of comfort food is not such a good idea when i'm missing my hubby... 😛

But honestly,, besides the overworked CHOCOLATE!! ---*crave crave*
nothing for me beats warm blueberry bran muffins. 🙂 They remind me of little-girl days baking with my caucasian grandmother.

Ditto that, or thick Challah bread French Toast, pizza, pasta salad, steak or hamburger with garlic mashed potatoes (garlic undetected) , scrambled eggs.... Certain flavor jellybeans....

and yes, almost anything Chocolate, I'm surprised that's not mentioned more often.... Hot liquid, minty, crunchy, layered....

Only one of those, ideally, & follow it with an apple so you keep your teeth.. 😀
