Hmm, I'm somewhat envious of that cap & gown stuff..
We don't have such a fancy dress parade here 😉 My "graduation ceremony" involved going to the exams office one morning (overtired, of course; and after they made me wait for 3 months after the last exam...), waiting at the counter for a couple minutes for the fat clerk to finish chatting with her colleague about some private matter until she stooped to noticing the lowlife that was growing more and more annoyed and impatient, and with some kind of grunt she eventually produced the very cheap cardboard sheet that was the result of many years of study.
Ah well, but I guess it's also more honest that way. 😉

BTW, "hombre" is used as an exclamation in Spain (don't know in the latin America). Whereas if you wanna say "Hey man!" in Southern Spain you should just say "Caballero!"... I love it!

Mira! Aprendo algo nuevo cada dia! We are learning "normal" spanish. Unfortunately, I didn't know all the terms used in Spain. I know they speak a bit differently than I have been learning. I would love to visit one day!

You should go one day, Spain is really nice to see. I went with my high school when I was younger. It was so much fun, We had to learn spanish before we could go, it was not easy but after some time we got the just of it. I plan to go back one day. I loved it over there. I may have been young but it was something I will never forget. Funny thing is now I don't remember much spanish at all. I know basic stuff and a few terms but thats about it. I am going to start speaking it again so when I do go back I will have mastered it fully. If you do go I hope you enjoy it

Muchas gracias! My degree that I'm recieving tomorrow is in Spanish Language. Xray school to follow in August......hoping to get into the radiologist residency program eventually. Lots of school, but I think it'll be worth it in the end! It feels good to complete the 1st half of all this!
