Very nice clip, thankx! You know, the Japanese seem to be much more into tickling in mainstream entertainment than we are over here (USA that is), especially as a form of torture or punishment. The only thing I can ever remember seeing in an American movie that came close was that classic scene in FLESH GORDON, and I'm not sure how mainstream you can call that!
 
^Japan has different cultural views on sexuality and physical contact in general, although they mostly view tickling as very innocent and childish.

Japanese culture isn't as taboo and 'prudish' about physical contact and sex as western cultures are, e.g. nudity isn't taboo, sex is talked about more openly, some bath houses, spas, public rest rooms, etc are unisex.

This is because western views on sex are strongly influenced by Christian/Protestant/Puritan/Victorian styles of morality which don't view sex and related physical issues in a very positive light, influenced by ancient Christians who despised the Romans who oppressed them greatly, Romans were very open about sexuality, among other things.

Whereas the Japanese didn't really seem to undergo such drastic cultural changes, their attitudes seemed pretty much to be heavily influenced by Tang Dynasty China, a very, very liberal leaning dynasty, but eventually fell and more conservative leaning dynasties and regimes took over the nation for much of the history afterwards. Japan didn't suffer through this, since it was heavily isolated for most of its history, it maintained the cultural values that they adopted from the Tang, and this continued until the 19th century when Japan opened up to the outside world.

This led to the adoption of many western cultural practices, which in recent times have been blended with already existing Japanese culture.

Hi there Aaron, thanks for the tickling clip, I thought it was almost impossible to get it, but you prove it wrong.

I read about this clip in some forums and i'm very glad to finally see it. Do you know if there are more tickling scenes in Corrector Yui? I've found another one in Tickletheater searching for "Corrector yui", but it was Yui tickled/licked by a lion in the face.

By the way, I'm mexican and like Cosmo said, your translation was very accurate 😉

bad lucky,....... there is only a one escene like this one in this serie, I see all episodes in Cartoon Network (mexican), in the second season Frezzi is part of the good girls (she leaves the dark side, jajajaja) and in a few episodes she dress bikini, and shows her barefeet, but nobody tickle her.........

Is a good serie, and haves a lot of anime barefoot (beach.... slepping.....and in the transformations, specially corrector haruna)

Is good, the songs are very cute, well only the lyrics, but the story is stupid, a virtual world infected by cumputer virus, and the correctors (yui, haruna and in the second seasson Corrector AI), must to fight to save the virtual red......

There are a clip of dr slump, but is a complete chapter, where arale tickles miss midori, but is very slow and only can see registered in you tube... sorry, only search professor IQ eposode 22 1 of 2.....

Hi Aaron, thanks for the quick answer. I have another question, during Corrector Yui, were any shoeplaying, like dangling, dipping, etc? I like the girls being barefooted, but shoeplaying is way better for me. I love shoeplaying almost as much as tickling. So if there were some on it, I'd definitely should get the serie.

Rajee, the great wizard of tickling clips, I have a technical question for you. Which programs do you use to convert from FLV files to WMV? Or which procedure do you follow to get the wmv from youtube clips 😉

I used a program called Super
Encoder. Here is the link: Super Encoder It is a free program.

I downloaded Keepvid Keepvid which enabled me to save the embedded flash files on Youtube to unembedded flv files by changing the htm extension to flv extension.
