This is a question I wanted to put out there and I am expecting a mixed response depending on how into this fetish different people are. lets say you have the opportunity to date someone who's looks blow you away, you can have great sex with them and you get on great personality wise but your tickle fetish (for whatever reason) will never play a part... Could you live without it?
 
No. Not even because it is extremely important to me or anything....look at it this way: If someone wants to love you, they should love every single part of you. Every single aspect of your life, personality, psyche including your kinks and quirks. If they don't, perhaps you should keep looking.
 
I managed it for two years and ide never been happier and ive been in a few heavily tickle related relationships.

True love has a way of making other things like fetishes just not matter as much.

So it would depend how things went with this person I suppose, i know I cant hold a relationship with someone without my foot fetish involved though so as long as she was nifty in that department I think there could be a chance it would be fine.
 
I'd rather not live without it, but, if I met someone that meant so much to me I posibly could?
 
It is a part of me. It is part of who I am. I would not change who I am for nobody. So, I might be able function without this fetish, but live.....I do not think so.
 
If I didn't have this fetish, I'm sure I'd survive.

Edit: Just read the OP, and in that scenario I'd probably not be happy.

I've been the same before... but somehow this part of me is always in the back of my mind. Having not really known what life would truly be like without this fetish, I'd have to say I can't imagine living without it, lol. And like Tom said, it's a part of who I am and I don't see that changing 🙂
 
I couldn't maintain a relationship without it and without cheating, no.

This. 🙂 It's nice and a lot of fun but it would not be a deal breaker if I met the right woman in all others respects. I have been down that road twice, years ago when it was a big deal to me and it was a factor in losing both of them. Not the only one, but it did play a large part. I would glady give it up now, when I look back on what I lost.

Besides, as Darkhand said, if someone loves you they should love all of you and accept who you are as a person.
 
Probably, though I'd have to do some work to get rid of it, and to be honest sometimes I want to. But I haven't given any series effort to it so we'll see.
 
How could you have great sex without it? Sex is so directly influenced by mental interplay that if my partner expressed no curiosity about it, I can't imagine they could be genuinely interested in me as a good friend in the first place.
 
As for the scenerio of the OP, Nope...why should I? And the people who say they could would be sneaking downstairs in the middle of the night to hop on the good old TMF!

And nobody said you couldn't get on the TMF, just that the fetish wouldn't play a role in that relationship!
 
If you're in a relationship that's denying this fetish and you're on the TMF... chances are, you can't live without it. Could be wrong, but just sayin... 😉
