Someone may have asked this before, but I was curious if anyone has ever used Craigslist to find a tickle partner, whether it was a personals ad or a "service" Pros/cons? Just wondering. Would love to hear your encounters (or lack there of)

Pros:

You can search for people specifically in your area
You might be able to meet someone in shorter order than through the forum

Cons:

Anyone can place a personal. You have no idea if the person you are meeting actually has a legitimate tickle interest, is not a crazy person, or is even the gender they claim.

I personally much prefer to play with people with whom Im comfortable first. If you are too nervous, you may be too distracted to do your best lering or fully enjoy the tickling sensations.

Safety is always a bigger issue when you meet a stranger through a personals as opposed to someone you know well or even play at a gathering which has plenty of security and rules in place to make all guests comfortable.


I personally have never used craigslist nor do I intend to use it in the future for this purpose. But if you do decide to meet someone this way be as safe as possible. Get to know your partner as well as you can first. Meet somewhere public to start. Make sure someone you trust knows where you are going.

I think I prefer my way - meet people through gatherings or through other more common social circumstance. There's too many gatherings these days, and it's WAY too easy to ask someone to coffee if ya like their conversation.

After all, one CAN socialize WITHOUT having to target a potential partner. Some of us old guys actually think that's smarter, now that we've slammed our heads against the same walls you young 'uns are now hitting (or are about t'hit).

Seriously, I'd not go with Craigslist before posting a personal here, calling for simple social contact. Not one for play. For social. EVERYONE reading, here, has some aspect of this interest. More friends in this interest means a) you're gonna feel WAY more normalized in how you feel 'bout tickling and b) you'll know people who know people and folks can reference you.

I'm a mad bastard and yet I found someone through this forum. Again. If I can, any of us can.

yeah there are alot of scammers and stuff but it's not ALL scam artists. I have never used craigslist but my brother has (not to find a tickle partner, but just in general) and he hasn't come across a scam thru craiglist..

i have only been on craiglist once, i did look thru the adult part and didn't find any tickle partners lol.. i wasn't really looking for anything thing though i was just looking thru it bc everyon'e always talking about it... and i do believe it's more than just my brother that has used it and they never told me they had problems with scams so it's not all scams..

but yeah, be careful. but you should also be careful doing it from the TMF, anyone can join TMF too...

I had another friend who put up an ad for a foot fetish interest, and he got nothing but spam, no real people. He really went out of his way to write a nice, descriptive ad and nothing came from it. I put up an ad for a tickle partner once and got the most weird replies ever. I made sure to specifically say what i was looking for and every guy was like, "uh, I'll tickle you if we have sex". and lots of people looking to cheat on their girlfriends. Classy. So basically I look at craigslist as a place to laugh at all the crazy responses you get. But, who knows, it might be different in your area.

I've used Craigslist. Not to specifically find a tickle partner, but to find a partner who was ticklish, or who wanted to be with a guy with a foot fetish. The woman I'm seeing now, I met on Craigslist.

Basically, if you can write a good, engaging ad, and spot the scammers when they write to you, you're golden. I've only met one nut on Craigslist and I've been using it for years.

That said, results may vary. Sometimes I get scads of replies, sometimes I get zip. It tends to go by season or something.

Much better luck than with gatherings or the personals here in my case, that's for sure.

Oh, and I almost forgot - I never reply to ads myself. Always post your own and see who'll write.

Bottom line; Craigslist is largely unmoderated and unregulated. It's simple and unrestrictive to use. You don't have to surrender personal information, a credit card, etc.

There are people using it specifically for those reasons, and not just to save money either.

Present company excepted, Craigslist is the last resort of the scum of the earth. For every normal person posting at Craigslist, there are probably ten lunatics, sociopaths, and/or scammers trying to make a dishonest buck. It's a 99.9% waste of time, in my opinion.

Same here, actually. Forever hopeful, they are. I admit that I've perused Craigslist on occasion for people with a tickling interest. You'll find a handful of posts, though they're always from a male seeking a female or another male. But like everyone else has said, the site is really a haven for con-artists.

Viper only uses Craigslist for models. Once or twice a month, he posts an ad looking for New Tickle Models and sometimes it goes over well. That's where he found Troy and Samantha. But you do have to be careful of flakes. It seems like for every good model that is found on there, there are two flakes who were just looking for a quick buck and that's what he is trying to avoid, due to the fact that they usually are NOT that ticklish at all.

As for the personals, I never really tried to use them for anything. The only thing that has come out of Craigslist for me is possible rent opportunites for apts and housing and such. But even then, I do a TON of research before calling and even more afterwards.

It's hard to find and trust people on a site like that.

Lots of CL bashing, but I will tell you I've had very good results posting ads in the Adult Gigs section. My ad specifically states I am seeking a thin female who is ticklish and I usually quote the $ amount in the ad -- the last ad I posted I was offering $200 for an hour session.

I've placed 2 ads and gotten 3 sessions out of it.

The first was a 30+ single mom who had her own place. Her kid was out. I was very nervous when I knocked on the door. She generally looked the way she did in her photo -- short, thin, petite, with long brown hair. She was also nervous -- she responded to the ad b/c she needed the rent money and isn't a pro by any means -- but after talking for about 15 minutes, we both got pretty comfortable with each oter. She was wearing a bra and panties (not really sure how to describe women's clothing).

She was EXTREMELY ticklish, and ended up using her password every 5 seconds. She was especially ticklish on her feet, neck, underarms and waist. She even told me her boyfriends can't kiss her on the neck because it tickles so much. She was a great sport about it -- despite her constant passwords, she said she enjoyed being tickled.

Craigslist, in such organizational circumstances, isn't a smart way to go, given the hustlers using it. Mods here weed them rascals. Craigslist is the wild frontier, still. Like USENET.
