CRAZY Weather! Anyone else experiencing this?

Here we are, October 23rd. In Wisconsin, we usually are expecting or have already received our first snowfall of the year. And even if the snow manages to hold off we still see average temps of around 35 - 40 degrees that keep steadily declining.

NOT THIS YEAR!

Right now it is hotter than all blazes outside, and we're in the middle of a.......THUNDERSTORM?!?! 😕 😕 😕

Is anybody else currently experiencing extremely unusual weather conditions for this time of year?

We had a much cooler summer than we're used to out here. It's not unusual for us to have to have a month straight or more of 100+ temperatures, but this summer we had no rain but fewer hundred degree days (I'm not much of a hot weather person at all-yuck) than we've had in the almost 20 years I've lived in Northen California.

Today seems to be pretty on target. It's a beautiful rainy day and we've got the fireplace going, but all the doors and windows are open. I definitely think there's some kind of changes going on out there (Multiple hurricanes, Mt. St. Helens, etc...)Perry's the closest person on here to a meteorologist than I can think of, I wonder what his thoughts are on all this...

We have had a lot of rain this year, even in the last couple of weeks. However, right now the weather is very seasonal. Except for a cloudy day with a couple of light showers tomorrow, the weather is expected to be sunny and seasonal for the next several days, with highs between 55 and 65, very normal for this time of year. Up until recently, we had a lot of rain, but in recent days it's just been sunny and seasonal, a welcome change from most of this year.

Just an early major rainstorm here in SoCal.
Flooded streets, overflowing culverts, but just a minor dent in our five-year drought.
