You said what happened to reading, well, isn't that another list to be put up?
Movies should treated like wine or a woman, savored and cherished. Modern Hollywood does not treat them like that.

PHWOOSH... Yer gonna make a lady very happy someday, bro.![]()
and if you like a good mind fuck you should enjoy this one. It may require a second viewing, but I like things that make me think.
Shawshanke Redemption...I can't believe this movie wasn't brought up yet!

True Romance
Battle Royale
Blue Velvet
Falling Down
The Blues Brothers
Ghostbusters
Goodfellas
Soilent Green
The Usual Suspects
Clerks
I need acid to watch that movie again, babes.
HOW old are you again Crysal??? 😛 Looks like there needs to be a serious movie night sometime in the near future "A Clockwork Orange" style. Wait... have you seen A Clockwork Orange?

If you get the chance, check out Tod Browning's "Freaks," which was released in 1932. The ending is perhaps one of the most disturbing scenes ever filmed in motion picture history. Here's one of the many memorable scenes from that flick:

lol... that's a great selling point. I might have to never watch that, ever. 😛
In that case, the ending is actually quite charming and will put a smile on the grumpiest of faces.
Awesome choice, Frankie!
"Freaks" is an absolute classic. On the dvd though, they kinda change things so it doesn't end with the "disturbing scene". Which kinda sucks because it was the perfect shocking ending.
