Finding yourself being taken too seriously? People constantly looking up your big words, and complex phrases on dictionary.com? Your PM box full of threatening messages because you are just too smart to talk to some of us and everything is taken as an insult? Follow my simple guidelines and you shall have dropped post counts, and people having a general lack of interest in what you say ! 😀



Keep It Basic: Got a question? Post it. That is all.

Don't Be Specific: Yeah.

Grammar? Pffft! : You dont need proper grammar make sure you make the longest most hardest to understand run on sentence in the world and dont forget DO NOT ADD PUNCTUATION

Thread Titles Make Great Openers: So, You don't want to do that.. Post a big dopey smiley face and a LULZ in capital letters with about 50 exclamation points.

Fight with yourself: No one posting on your thread? NO PROBLEM ! Pick a fight...with yourself ! You are bound to get at least one or two people to glance at it sadly in passing !

Videos make a great post!: Scrounge through youtube, find at least 16 videos, Place them in one post, thus taking up a good page and a half. Comment each one individually. Repeat.

Smileys 'spice' a post!: So don't forget to use your imagination and get creative ! About 40 different one's should do the trick. Spread them all out with lengthy spaces.

Font size and Color: The bigger, and the brighter the better ! Again, creativity is key..so make it Loud and Proud !

Broken/Dead Links: About 5 of those suckers in one posts with extremely intriguing titles for each one is bound to make for a fantastic post !

This is one of my pet peeves. I hate new posts with dead links. I also hate people who revive two-year-old posts with the complaint that the link no longer works.

Amen to that!!

My personal favorite is bumping up six year old threads to create new arguments over old crap! My next personal favorite are the one/s who put smiley faces on posts that are actually demeaning, degrading, and insulting. They think by smiling, they're getting away with it, but they're not! One person in particular comes to mind...........:whip:

This is similar to what Kis is posting about, but how can you forget those dictatorial, standoffish posts with the escape-valve ending of :

"Just my thought" or "That's just my opinion, lol."

Unless you backed up your post with data from Standard and Poor's of course it was your opinion! What gives it weight is if it is an educated opinion. Besides, it's doubtful that anyone really confused your fetish webite psuedonym-ic declaration with a Public Notice county-wide policy change and thus began altering their behavior as a result.

And really, who else's opinion would it be - Cicely Tyson's? We caught the forensic clue it was yours when it was posted under your TMF name. The opinion thing..... pull back a little.

Oh my God - wouldn't it be great if Cicely Tyson was 'one of us' and actually here on the TMF?

Oh, those generic, "lazy" posts that say something like "Greatest Collage Tickling Ever" then the entire post is a YouTube link. Give us a review, a description, let us know why it is worth the time to check out or not. Something. Be creative - honestly, that post might be your only 15 minutes of fame within your miserable life; make something of it. Maybe this falls under the "Don't Be Specific: Yeah." section but that's just my thought.

And a few Shemps go a long way. A FEW, I said.
