Many people even need their callouses if they run or dance, or just have an odd natural positioning of their knees and/or ankles and have trouble finding shoes that don't create callouses nearly instantly.
Seconded 🙂 I almost always get blisters when I walk more than several blocks if I wear thin or no socks and non-sneakers, even as I'm very picky about buying comfortable shoes. It's just the shape and size of my feet 😛
