I was just reading the last posts in the 'why aren't there more women on the forum' thread (a fantastic thread with many intelligent responses btw) and got to thinking of the imagery this forum first presents when you log on. To me, the photos look miscellaneous - like old photos from someone's secret collection. One of my favorite images is the one above on the clips4sale advertisement - with the girl with her hair in her face smiling into the camera - it always makes me smile too. I'd love to be greeted by a similar, more fun loving image when I arrive here, and think it would fair better in our public relations with how this forum is perceived. Any thoughts?

I'd imagine to even find this place you'd have to have a fetish or kink in the first place, rendering "public relations" a bit pointless. Especially since "The woman issue" is more a problem of certain, less socially matured individuals doing creepy, unacceptable things. Pictures, while adorable, aren't exactly going to fix that.

I would love to see more diversity on the front page. As I recall, the image started with a call for submissions to be rotated on a weekly basis, and I wish that had succeeded. I think the front page of Forum deserves to seem friendly, and friendly to everyone.

Agreed! I know this forum is largely male-based and a vast majority seem to prefer the /f tickling, but it would be great to have a little more variety.

i think that f/m tickling is really underrespresented on the forum. the majority of people prefer m/f or f/f, guys make really good 'lees too

I think because most people here are males and like being the dominant one(ler) and the females on here are more likely to be the submissive ones(lee).

Amen to that. Sadly, the female 'lee population seems to outnumber the female 'ler and male 'lee population combined. I guess on average most women enjoy being 'lees more than us guys do.

I get that everyone is all for M/F, F/F, and F/M, but I'm always disappointed at the utter lack of M/M material around the site. I may be a woman, but when I can't be involved, I'd rather just watch M/M and it's a difficult feat to find that here or anywhere unless I write about it myself.

This is a very refreshing attitude from like a decade ago when someone posting any kind of /m material would get lots of irrational angry hostile responses from the homophobic crowd that was pretty strong here at the time. I myself also love being on the receiving end of a sensual tickle torture session and couldn't understand the strong reactions to such materials here. Each category has a series of threads that are like closed doors down a hallway with the title on the door, telling you what's inside. If one chose not to see such material, don't open the door. It's just that simple. But the over reacting was incredible. Its good to see that's mellowed out a bit, and more /m material is happening. I'd prefer being a voyeur to watch women, as the music is nicer, but I can also watch /m material, enjoying knowing what they are going through. It's loads of fun.

Yep...this was a great idea because it kept the entrance fresh and the graphics were made by the members!!! Have no idea why they stopped it. I myself can't stand the one we have there anymore...it has not been changed in what seems forever!

I've lurked and posted on tickling sites under various names since 1997 or so, and I remember well the era you're describing. Back then you could have a clip or drawing with 5 hot women tickling one man and there was a very vocal contingent that would run you out of town for being "gay." When you tried to explain to them that a man being tickled BY WOMEN is by definition not gay, they would simply shout you down until they won the argument through sheer force of will. I just don't understand how F/M was once considered gay. Is vanilla porn gay if a guy is receiving oral sex from a woman? After all, he's the one on the receiving end, that makes it gay, right?

I always assumed that these guys were secretly afraid of the concept of women being dominant. I imagine they were misogynists as well as homophobes. Not sure what happened to them. Maybe the gays got them.

Maybe a collage of tickle pics depicting a diverse group of lers and lees. Be it m/m, f/f, m/f, f/m, ff/m.... you get the idea.Also diverse in that it sports nerdy guys, builts guys, sporty girls, and well, I guess we already enjoy a large plethora of women. A long to ago I was... ok i'll say it... homophobic and detested the idea of m/m, however I suppose the wisdom of life has shown me that tickling isn't all a sexual aspect, as it can be a sensual, and thereputic, and enjoyed in all different spectrums. If you can transend cultural, gender, and ethnic bias, you can take the sport of tickling to a whole different level. Thats just one man's opinion though.
