A rumor has been floating around the Internet stating that a large and deadly asteriod will hit Earth during the 2004 fall season. The good news is astronomers are sure that it will not happen at this point. The bad news is that there is an asteriod the size of a small city that will make the closest known pass of a large space rock this century on September 29, 2004.

The last big asteroid collision was good for us mammals; it ended the age of dinosaurs about 65 million years ago. 😀

I believe you are referring to planet X, which, in passing supposedly will struggle with our gravitational pull causing mass mayhem across the globe. Supposedly the planet passes over every 3000 years or so.

If not, it's news to me XD

~Myst~

You bet your ass-teroid. Somebody call Bruce Willis, QUICK!

The Sean Man

So then obviously we will just have the world wide tickling gathering on September 28th... 🙂

Planet X? Isn't Sedna technically Planet X, being the 10th planet?

i heard about it some of my male freinds told me. i forgot its name but they said it was pretty huge and it was gonna hit.🙁

The asteroid will miss but one day we will not be so lucky. I started a project not long ago called "The Hypergenesis Project" to avoid these problems. So that all the goverments of the world could address the problem in advance so we will be prepared. We have the technology we just need to apply it. The comet Shoemaker-Levy that struck Jupiter not long ago showed us how real the threat is. Such a series of small objects produced explosions the size of earth itself! We need to take care of this problem it is simple enogh to do if we apply ourselves. We owe it to ourselves, to future generations and to all life on the planet.

Yep our ass is basically grass. Too many really big rocks out there with our name on them travelling at 1500 miles per second right toward Kansas and we have no clue.

Forget the heroics with the rockets, just have fun.

And do it now, got it ?

Wasn't that the technology that both the Klingons and Ricardo Montalban wanted from Captain Kirk?

Well actually that was the Genesis project. The Hypergenesis Project is composed of several ideals I had to make sure that life on this planet survives as long as possible. 😀
