I consider referring to somebody as "a completely mentally fucked up person" to be beating down.

I anticipated that somebody would come out and say something like that, when really MJ deserves much more respect than that.

It's really quite amusing that people actually believed that story. Even more amusing that people never did their research. We all knew the first time he was accused, he paid the family to drop the case. Was it because he was guilty? No. It was because he didn't want to go through with it. My guess is that he knew what the family really wanted. and he was that desperate for it to end, that he gave them what they wanted. Think about it. If your child was molested, would you accept money from the molester? I DON'T THINK SO!

Now, the 2nd accusation was just ridiculous. If you had done your research, you would have known that thr Arvizo's (the ones who accused MJ of molesation) had a history of giving false allegations. Not to mention the kids were known to have behaviour problems. and the mother was caught stealing from a store one day, so the security guard escorted her out. Later, she accuses to guard of SEXUALLY ASSAULTING HER! Even having bruises. (Later found out that she made the bruises herself)

I'm ending that segment here. Do your research.

And on that note, I would have to say as a parent, there is no amount of money in the world I would want in exchange for damage done to my child, so that for me made the whole allegation fishy. He knew better than to think though that the behavior he did engage in would not instantly condemn him, so he paid up, but who in their right mind as a parent seeks financial compensation for permanently psychologically damaging their child if it is the truth?

Why? Because he's dead? That doesn't really make any sense... For a person like MJ, there will always be a plethora of strong opinions of him out there. That's the price you pay for being famous.

Who in their right mind would abuse and damage a child in the first place? Trust me when I say it's useless to put anything past some people. Sorry for sounding cynical - I certainly don't know the truth - but humans have officially ceased to amaze me.

I agree as well. No amount of money or publicity would ever allow me to take money for someone messing with my kids. I wouldn't want money, I would want them in jail, no matter what.

Well, as the OP pointed out that's all they wanted anyway. So those people would go after financial compensation for psychologically damage dont to their child. Some people believe money will make everything better.

Am I the only one who actually didn't like his music even before all the allegations came up? Then again, theres not much music that came from the 80s that I liked. I didn't start liking music until the late 90s, and even most of that was local music that none of you would know who I'm talking about (most likely).

Granted, but when it's not YOUR OWN children, it's sure as hell suspicious to say the least, no? If I had kids, I wouldn't want them sleeping in the same bed as some man I didn't know, I don't care if he's famous or not.

If its someone who thinks a child needs love. Needs to feel wanted. I can see that not being a problem. People always want to think the worst, that is just human nature nowadays. Things like this happened 30 years or so ago routinely. And no one thought or accused people being a pedophile.

Now I am not saying if he did or did not, all I am saying is there is plenty of room for doubt, and I can not nor will I convict someone for something that there is reasonable doubt for.
