Aside from concrete evidence proving it either true or false, what is the reasonable doubt?

The doubt I have in my mind that it is possible for someone to love all children. To think of them self as a child. To actually believe there is nothing wrong with loving all children and treating every child as if they were your own. And thus in their mind feeling that although society frowns on it feeling nothing is wrong with it.

Again, one of my personal things that though I may not agree with something I can see both sides of view.

Okay. I'm quite surprised at how many people on this forum still believe certain things about MJ. As a long time fan of 18 years (I'm 20), I think it's about time you get a little MJ education. and please. This is an ADULT forum. Try and act like adults here. If ya only come in here to cause trouble, then suck it. Lets start with the most obvious one;

1: Michael Jackson was a pedophile!

It's really quite amusing that people actually believed that story. Even more amusing that people never did their research. We all knew the first time he was accused, he paid the family to drop the case. Was it because he was guilty? No. It was because he didn't want to go through with it. My guess is that he knew what the family really wanted. and he was that desperate for it to end, that he gave them what they wanted. Think about it. If your child was molested, would you accept money from the molester? I DON'T THINK SO!

Now, the 2nd accusation was just ridiculous. If you had done your research, you would have known that thr Arvizo's (the ones who accused MJ of molesation) had a history of giving false allegations. Not to mention the kids were known to have behaviour problems. and the mother was caught stealing from a store one day, so the security guard escorted her out. Later, she accuses to guard of SEXUALLY ASSAULTING HER! Even having bruises. (Later found out that she made the bruises herself)

I'm ending that segment here. Do your research.

2: Michael Jackson bleached his skin!

Dear god..People, MJ had vitiligo! The freakin autopsy results confirmed that! Vitiligo is a skin disease where theres loss of pigmentation in the skin, resulting in white blotches of skin. Again, if you had done your research you would have known that the treatment for vitiligo is infact bleaching the skin. Thats optional.

I know what your gonna say. 'Why didn't he just accept himself for that then.'. The guy had enough issues concerning his looks, he didn't need THIS to lower his confidence even more!

3: Michael Jackson had way too much cosmetic surgary!

Again, RESEARCH!! MJ has issues with his looks. His father always made nasty comments about Michael's looks. Hearing that from your dad at a young age is bound to leave mental scars. Fact is, MJ thought he was ugly, thanks to what his father said.

4: Michael Jackson's kids aren't really his!

Ya know what? I'm not even gonna explain this one. Look at the freaking photographs! and you only have to look at Blanket to know he's Michael's son!(Also, Prince is showing signs of vitiligo) and Paris admittidly looks more like her mother.

Nobody can prove with cold hard evidence whether or not MJ was a paedophile. People's greed for money, and human nature's desire to see somebody at the top corrupt themselves is clearly one of the saddest parts, and facts of MJ's life.

This thread was created when the OP posted in the "Why do we mourn Michael Jackson?" thread and his movie just came out, so he is on people's minds again.

I agree with the OP. People who think he is a pedophile probably (key word) think he is one because of what the media has told them. We have posters that knew nothing of Michael Jackson really until they heard he was being accused. The prosecution had no evidence. If they did, the trial would have went on in CRIMINAL court. Michael "paying off" the accuser is only good in CIVIL court. Notice the difference? The prosecution had NOTHING concrete.

The 2nd accusation was ridiculous. Once that kid took the stand and admitted he has lied under oath before, everyone knew the trial was a sham EXCEPT for those who believe he is a pedophile.

Why do people think he is a pedophile? Because he slept with children? We can all agree Michael had mental issues. No one can deny that. But, keep in mind, the man never had a childhood. He wants to be a kid again. Remember when you were a kid? You had sleepovers and slept in the same bed with no issues. Michael was doing the same thing since he wanted to be a kid. But, the problem is, society has a fucked up mentality. If two people sleep in the same bed, sex is involved. I'm telling you right now, I can share a bed with RobAce or Crystal light and it doesn't mean sexual activity will take place. Newsflash!!!! Sleeping in the same bed DOES NOT EQUAL sex.

If you think Michael's mentality is warped by sleeping in the same bed with children, how come your mentality is not warped for automatically thinking sex is involved? Think about it....

Bottom line, Michael Jackson was a musical genius. Elvis was a "king", but then again, he did steal from Little Richard....

The trial didn't go into criminal court because those accusing him wanted money. Which he gave them before it went to a civil trial. So because they got what they wanted anyway.There was no need for a criminal trial. Bringing us back to the fact that innocent people don't pay anyone off.They don't go speeding away in their white SUV or say that a voice which is clearly theirs on tape isn't really their voice either.

I never slept in the same bed with any of my friends. Nor did i ever know anyone that slept in the same bed with their friends. The same room, yes. Not the same bed.

When I say "respectable person", I mean that I'm somebody of rationale and reasoning, and believe I'm not being out of line by asking another person to tone it down with the "he's totally fucked in the head" thing.

MJ has a wealth of accomplishments that makes him worthy of respect, and if you can't see that, then you're not acknowledging both sides of the debate. You're simply saying, "I'm right, and you're wrong just because I open say that he was a paedophile".

Show me the proof that he's a paedophile. If you can't, then I'm gonna say, "show the man some respect" because I believe that's what he deserves.

Michael Jackson was a man who had a horrible childhood. He never really grew up. Physically, yes. Mentally, no. You could see it in the way he talked and moved. There had always been a childlike quality to Jackson. He loved children, could relate to children better than adults, because he was still a child himself trapped in an adult man's body. I don't think he saw what he did as wrong. To us, sleeping in a bed with children (who are not your own) is wrong.

I truly hope Jackson found the peace he could not find on Earth. RIP.

we can all argue over this for years and get no where with it.
