X frame, I think. Each has its charms, but the x frame allows best access to the lee's entire body.
 
I would have to go with the bed myself. There’s something about being able to lay along side a lee, and just lazy drag my fingertips across their skin. While I am relaxing as they are thrashing and squirming.
