I thought it would be nice if we each took time to thank those members of TMF who have made a difference in our lives. I can't think of a nicer way than to dedicate a song to that special person.

I'll get the party started...

Because she's been here for me from the beginning, back in July or so of last year and she's become such a great friend, I'd like to dedicate the following song to STEPH... thank you for being such a wonderful person and showing me the ropes, so to speak. I love ya, baby!:

I just thought it was about time we show appreciation for each other after all this time.

I have a lot of friends here at TMF so it may take a while to dedicate something to each and every one of them.

I've thought of expanding this thread to include anyone we appreciate, not just other TMF members. That's up to the individual. It's nice to know that you're appreciated or that you appreciate someone else.

I do, however, have a close coterie of friends I've made here. You all know who you are. I'm so grateful that I've met all of you, either in the flesh, or on lines on this screen, I feel that it's significantly enhanced my life.

I know I've only been here for 2 1-2 years, but considering the amount of time I've spent on here each week, it seems like a lot longer than that. This site has become my second home, and the place I have spent much of my free time on during the past 2 1-2 years.
The one song that comes to mind when I think of this site, even though I havent been here for say, decades, is "Old Friends". I would dedicate this song to many members I know who have become an important part of my life, and especially to my close friends Knox and P50. The people here, and especially Knox and P, have been so supportive and helpful with listening to me rant about my father, and my various business issues over the past 2 1-2 years.
So, Old Friends by Simon and Garfunkel is the song I wish to dedicate to the many members of the TMF who I have befriended over the past 2 1-2 years, and especially to Knox and P50. I hope that my friendship with both of you guys, and with all of you, grows even older and stronger in the days, weeks, months, and years to come.

yes, I truly wrote that. Glad you liked. I miss talking to you also. I don't get on-line as much as I used to. I'm not in school this quarter and have very little time alone. Thank God for bear and Bunny.
