lol and i kind of wish i had kept my big mouth shut. i didnt mean to imply that whites or blacks should be called anything other than people. i was just asking kis if there were a term she would prefer? i wish for the day when no one is described according to the color of thier skin .

I personally don't like to be identified by my race/ethnicity. It shouldn't matter, but it matters greatly in this country. The color of my skin is a carmel-brown, it is not "black."

My ancestors are NOT from Africa, my ancestors were a Choctaw Indian and an Irishman. Who really should care anyway?

I'm really not trying to kick up a fuss. I don't really know how I would best be referred. I don't like the idea of being identified by my race. I do kinda' like the "EBONY" thing-it covers those of us with non-white (caucasian) skin and it's not degrading or insulting. My race/ethnicity is an aspect that I had no control over. Identify me by the things I can control-am I a caring and compassionate person? Am I a good employee? Am I a good mother? Am I a good lover/friend? Those are the things in life that matter to me, not the race stuff.

Most women do not deserve to be referred to as a bitch or a hoe. If they do, go right ahead, but they obviously don't deserve to be in a video.

Now, the word Bitch is funny. IrishGirl and I curse at each other all the time. She'll call me a prick, I'll call her a bitch, we'll both grin and go about our business. That takes the meaning out of it. It's when it's used as either a derogatory word or a generalization that it pisses me off. When you refer to a group of women as bitches, that is a blanket label that includes every woman on Earth, which includes my girlfriend. As a result, I'm going to be a little pissed and you're going to be loosing a few teeth.

As for "hoes"...don't ever say the word in front of me and we're cool. No woman ever deserves to be called a name like that (or slut, or *****, whathave you...unless they actually are like that), and if you ever say that to someone, you will prompty be shut the hell up with my fist.

Someone mentioned their kids talking like that. Not in my house, not until they turn 18. If I EVER hear my future children saying ANY of those worlds before they are adults, they will also recieve a harsh backhand. My mother raised me like that, and I know better than to ever call women names like that.

Once they turn 18 though, if the name is justified (i.e. Dad, this bitch on the phone just hung up on me!), I might let it go.

bull crap on that one some woman are bitches and some are hoes. Than again some guys are too. Let me put it this way, most of the girls in those videos know what the songs are about and they still dance in them. Woman tend to listen to those songs. I call it like I see it.
