Division in tickling community

What is the deal with Kujiman and the tickle palace? He seems to have a real grudge against the TMF. Having been to his website however I cannot equate what he has said about the people on the TMF with reality. He really hates us 😱

Kujman is one of the pioneers of the tickle community, and he did a lot of valuable work for it. Unfortunately, this seemed to have inflated his ego a bit too much: He obviously thinks that nobody even comes near his experience, and that this experience gives him special privileges over all other tickle fans. All others have to shut up in awe when he speaks, and nobody is allowed to criticize him.

He was a TMF mod once, but he deemed himself above the rules and repeatedly violated them. He lost his mod position for that, but he wasn't banned. Since then, he bears a deep grudge against us because we didn't bow to his infinite wisdom.

But the huge oak tree does not care when a single splinter falls off... 😛

The man has made real and serious contributions to the community and continues to do so today. I will always be one to say that he knows his bondage, safety and is prhaps one of the most creative folks the community has seen.

Like many in our community, Kujman holds strong opinions about many aspects of how the community is growing and evolving. These opinions differ with many others who have equaly stong views and conflict is the natural result.

I've always held that there is room for a number of views and opinions in our comunity, and no one has the 'right' answer for everyone. It's how I've directed the forums growth. To be as inclusive of all and any who have any interest in tickling.

Kujman was a mod here when the forum was first opened by Scott, and over time had a difference of opinion with me in how the forum should be modded and grown. This resulted in his leaving.

He's welcome here as a member, and his account has never been closed. He's posted several times in the past years.

As to the initial question The comunity is 'splintered' because most comunities of any size have factions and groups who see things in different ways. Add in that this is a sexual forum, and you have the factor of very personal feelings being involved. It can touch people in a very deep way. They are more apt to be defensive if they perceive attack.

But as a whole the community seems to be well. It's grown closer in the last few years, mostly thanks to the webs influance and I think it will continue to.

I'm not sure what you mean by the comment. I'm no ones disciple. I've chosen a path of personal self education, and taking of knowledge from many sources. To follow any one person alone is not my way. I try to learn from many.

It may be hard for some to understand that I can respect a person while disagreeing with them in fundimental ways. This is one such case.

Kuj's main problems are with the more long-serving members of the community who knew him at the very beginning. Seeing the stuff on his home page WOULD shock anyone who's just arrived. If you wanted to hang around his site or his Yahoo Group, he wouldn't stop you, in fact he'd probably welcome you in. If you ever want to look for tickling or foot punishment videos that are extremely torturous, then I couldn't reccomend anyone else more than Kuj. I don't know if he's got his 8 month shipping delay sorted out yet, but I imagine he has. I hav'nt ordered a tape from him for about a year now.

As several have stated, Kurt has been around a long time. He's done RenFaires and became pretty famous in this community for his activities there. Additionally he shared lots of his pictures and stories long ago when this community was starting up and participated in several magazines that were about ticking and bondage. He did was most people only dreamed of.

I know the man very well. Although we've had our differences I can tell you that he is incredibly creative especially with bondage techniques, instruments, (i.e. the Flanders's Bench) and other foot torments. I know from first hand experience that he plays safe even at the extreme levels. I learned quite a bit about bondage from him back then and I've added to that through the years.

However, just as in any community there are people who participate at different levels. Kurt likes to play at an extremely high torturous level which is great for some and too frightening for others. You'll notice that the comment on his site is from many months back and I'm sure it won't change anytime soon if ever but that's ok. Each person can pick and choose as they please in life. He's chosen that road and some will follow. Some choose to enjoy this site and his and many others. No matter what his problem with the TMF or AMT or any particular people... it's all supposed to be about tickling. Differences of opinion will come and go in any group like our Forum. He certainly has the right to his own opinion.

In many ways I almost feel I have little right to comment in this thread much less anything of real importance or value to add simply because I have such limited information on kujiman,so I suppose my comments are more directly related to the thread being about kujiman... sadly what I have heard about him I have heard from people criticizing him...he may or may not deserve it, I have no idea...he may be all that or he may be none of it, I never give much creed to gossip, for the most part I think people talking about others negatively, reveals more about the person talking than the person he or she is talking about...for example, identifying for ourselves why we have a need to talk about other people is an interesting exercise in self reflection🙂....but , in short, I have to say two things and then I will go, I promise🙂 ...first I am now intrigued to find out more about kujiman, and second I admire myriads viewpoint re: the ability to respect a person while disagreeing with elements of their personality or character....(no one is ever all great or all bad🙂 I like to think that is how I am , I certainly hope so🙂 🙂

Kuj is like all human beings, he's got good and bad in him. He is a very well-known person in the community though, so discussion about him will always be high profile. Sometimes there's an almost tabloid-esque tendency to focus on the more sensational and negative sides of the Kuj Experience.

This thread is probably about the 20th thread about him and his differences with the community and I doubt it'llbe the last. Yes there's been controversy, but it would be plain daft to let that blind anyone to the best points about him. He was the flagship of the community for a very long time and is without doubt one of the ballsiest and most creative community members. I disagree with a lot of what he says, but I'd be an idiot to let that be the only influence on me.

we worked things out

kurt and i had a big, mean spirited fight for a while. we have since talked a few times, and both opened up, and patched things up.
he gave me a good reason why things were as they were, and i accepted them.
i's suggest talking to him(or anyone for that matter)and make your own decisions.
