Here's what I mean. Would you expect this group of sorority girls

to have different reactions when tickled than these more sophisticated, mature looking women?

I do. I would expect the sorority girls to be rendered more helpless and hysterical, generally. The more sophisticated mature women, I would expect them to have full belly laughs, more of a cackling laugh as opposed to the college girls who would be squealing and giggling.

Does anyone here agree with me on this? These are of course generalizations and there are exceptions to every rule. But if this generalization is accurate on my part I have a second question: are the sorority girls more ticklish than the mature women? Or do the young girls just have less control over their reactions?

Discuss :dog:

PS: do you have a preference for either reaction? I prefer the sorority girls 😀

For me, it's always depended on who was tickling me, not my age.
If I'm really comfortable with someone, I'm more open to letting
go of control of my reactions. If I'm not comfortable with someone,
my laughter sounds more panicked. With my owner, I'm completely
openly giggly to hysterical (depending on what she's doing to me).
I'm 28 now, and I've been the same way since I got into the kinky
scene at 16.

I think everyone is different. It doesnt boil down to things like whether you are a sorority girl or a high society woman. I think its more who you are as a person.

yeah i think its an independent thing and i will take the high class since i have banged half of the sorority chicks

"Do certain "types" of women have more intense ticklish reactions?"

Yes.

I've found from personal experience that more playful and flirty girls seem to be the more ticklish ones, however, I know anyone can be ticklish or not, I just thought it was an interesting coincidence.

I think its sort of what you're saying already, but I think it has more to do with personalities than experience.

Girls who join sororities just strike me as the more giggly type of women. What you're going for with the other picture...sort of, high-powered sophisticated mature women, are just more buttoned down and straight-laced for taking that life path. 😛

A laugh has nothing to do with your social status or age, but with your voice!

are the sorority girls more ticklish than the mature women?

No. Ticklishness has little to do with social status or age as well. I'm sure there are as many non-ticklish sorority girls as there are ticklish ones, and the same goes for older, mature women.

I don't know but i would love to do the experiment and fined out! strictly In the name of science of course.

The way someone laughs at humorous things depends on social status, age, and personality. That much is clear. But tickling is less controllable. I would venture to say that women for whom a "refined" laugh is acceptable would be more averse to being tickled, even in private. Unless, of course, they're using tickling as way of breaking free of the rigid expectations cast upon them by society. In public, though, it might not be considered appropriate for a girl to squeak or giggle. Tickling can cause these undesirable reactions.

I think a better example is men. There's still an equation of masculinity with stoicism and self-control. Being tickled does not engender those qualities. It is certainly not manly to squeak or giggle. When a man laughs, it should be a belly laugh - so sayeth our culture.

This from the man whose voice jumped "eight octaves in half a second." Thanks Sharkie 😉

I guess its just more exciting for me to look at an 18 year old girl wearing Ugg Boots and with braces on her teeth, and think I have a fair idea how she reacts when someone tickles her, since I'll likely never find out.

Where are the biker chicks and nurses and nuns, oh my?

This is like the threads: "Is hair color, brand of box or bottle that delivered said hair color, race, creed, country of origin, religious orientation, birth order, or favorite flavor of ice cream" a good determining factor of a woman's ticklishness? Of course the "Rocky Road" chicks are all off the charts ticklish!!! Duh!! 😉 I believe that when we see a lady that "tickles our fancy" in other areas we want to believe that she is also defacto ticklisho. :0 Now whether she wants to be a 'lee or is even remotely interested in said 'ler on any level are more important than "looks". Just "look" at the bevy of barefoot babes that FM( fakin' mostly) Concepts assembled. Did our anticipation coincide with the reality there?

I don't think it would matter honestly. I think it's all based on the individual and their reacations.

Maybe I'm a dirty old man, but.. I would rather tickle the sorority girls, as opposed to the mature, sophisticated woman. Now, as to your question:

I honestly don't know if the sorority girls would have different reactions. It could work both ways. While the sorority girls might be more mega ticklish, perhaps from being younger, and sensitive, it's also more likely that they would have a guy, a sorority sister, or a female friend, give them more regular tickles, then might, a sophisicated woman, who, perhaps, has a male partner, husband, bf, or same sex partner, as it may be, who isn't into tickling, and wouldn't tickle them as often.

One final thought: While people can become less ticklish with age, I don't think that is always true. It can depend on the individual situation, and the individual person.
