I still subscribe to the "most everyone is ticklish anyway" theory though so the point is probably moot.

The three best ticklers I know/knew are/were very ticklish.

But the three most ticklish people I know aren't very good ticklers.

I'd say no, and this is why:

Everyone is ticklish to different techniques, right? So even if they do tickle with the tickling technique that tickles them most, it does not mean that it will have the same effect on the person being tickled. For example:

One may be excessively ticklish to the squeezing of the hips. So they squeeze the hips of a person who is most ticklish to the light, feathery tickling of the sides or something.

I agree with Amanda.

I think that being ticklish or not has less to do with tickling ability and more to do with tickling experience (more tickling episodes/more and varied ticklees).

Just my opinion.

Every person has their own tickle spots and a certain way to tickle them to make them scream, I think you just have to have the right combination..plus im ticklish as all get out but im not a very good tickler on other people, but on Jester I am because I know exactly what to do and how to do it

I disagree. I'd be more of the opinion that the 'ler that pays attention and reads the 'lees reaction would do the best job.

Since everyone is different (some like hard kneading, some light touches, some scratching... whatever) what works for the 'ler who is ticklish may not work for whoever they're tickling at the moment.

I don't think one has to do with the other. I think you'll find a mix of ticklers who are ticklish and those who are not.

Well, I'd have to disagree, at least with your reasoning. The reason is that 'lees vary a lot in what they like. What tickles me (I'm quite ticklish) might not work on my partner, so knowing that about myself wouldn't help me tickle her in that case.

I think that what makes a good tickler is simply the ability to make the 'lee the center of your world for the space of the scene. I don't think one has to be ticklish to do that well.

I can't agree or disagree with you. That could made a sense, but mostly it depends on a lee.

i believe if you are ticklish you may go for spots that you are ticklish with and forget that everyone's body is different.

I have been tickled out of my mind by people who were not very ticklish and also by those who were- and vice versa
