Yeah, it's tricky, alright. Personally I don't know whether God's responsible or not for those things. Some people say he moves in mysterious ways, others that he doesn't move at all, and there's a whole bunch of different opinions. But I'll be honest - I just don't know.

I don't know, the world is a pigs ear for sure, so much injustice and suffering in the world, i have a on off sort of feeling about god but when the soft stuff hits the fan i'am soon in the church,i was talking to a indian guy last year about religion and he said, if you are concerned and don't act god will not be pleased, but if you are unaware you will be ok, this puts most decent people in the soft stuff.i worry about what i can change and what i can't i don't worry i'am sure that i have been down this road in another thread.

To be a bit naughty a bloke said to me "the only god i have is the salary it tells me what i can do" i know he is wrong because the wife tells me what i can do.

It's the same with Baby P and Shannon Matthews in this country.

Although Shannon Matthews mother (who kidnapped her own daughter for reward money) is having justice served to her. She's in prison, and they're calling her Bernard - as in Bernard Matthews. This is because, like the turkeys Bernard Matthews sells, Karen Matthews isn't likely to live to see Christmas - there's a ten-cigarette bounty on her head (no lie).

The milestones of God's justice may grind slow, but they grind exceedingly fine, Izzy. If this is her, they'll be able to nail the mom or whoever did this heinous crime

I heard somewhere that I can't remember that when something good happens, it's the grace of God, and when something bad happens, he moves in mysterious ways. Take that as you will, but myself, from what I gather about it all, is that God doesn't generally interfere alot in human lives. I believe there was a reason that the world was flooded, that reason being that most humans had become so absolutely corrupt that it was a necessity. From what I remember of that, I don't think we're at that level right now, plus the whole never flooding the Earth again thing.

They have a baby, carry it for 9 months, only to kill it later? What the hell?!

exactly...and God sees into the future..so why did He allow this baby to be born??? as with other babies and little children that suffer death and abuse at the hands of their parents?

QueenBee...we went the adoption route..it fell thru at the last minute..another loss for us..
