do you prefer producers to film a clip with a story (fake) or a clip without a story

I don't like the storylines for two reasons: Bad acting and bad storylines. Most of these girls can't act and it can be very distracting. The stories themselves are often goofy and completely unrealistic. In fact, I have even had stories ruin a video for me. Now I have some "story videos" that I have liked because the story is more subtle. Unfortunately, these are few and in between.

I have to disagree with what seems to be the majority (so far). I like SOME sort of scenario. I think the key to me is that there is some sort of talking between lee and ler. I'm a big fan of teasing and begging, and that is more likely in a scenario scene than not. So I would say the story line is important only to the extent that it fosters some more interaction between lee and ler.

Finding a girl that is willing to do a tickle-video AND is a believable actress is probably pretty impossible, so for the most part, unless you want your porn to be a comedy, leave the story out of it.


Of course, if you do happen to find said model/actress, go for it, although I still think you're better off without it.

Well being against the mainstream in this post, I will add that alot of the stories used in tickle videos are over-acted. I understand how that can just ruin the tickling. But having a scenerio and just letting the girls go with it without having lines but truely thinking they are in that situation would be fun for me. Sometimes in tickle vids, models/ticklees that aren't into tickling don't know what do even if they are asked to tickle the other girl and that's it. I see awkwardness in there faces after 5-6 minutes of just tickling, hence a scenerio would give them something to drive the tickling.
I don't know, I don't do videos but I love your stuff tzimber2003. Hell, I'm going to buy a clip of yours today. 🙂

i would like to see some sort of scenario..if acted pretty well..speaking wouldn't have to be absolute...just acting out an abduction would be a nice change..and if you were lucky enough to find some who could act fairly decently, an interrogation scenario would be fine..or an interview for a job, in which the girl or whoever is tricked..

Ler and Lee is all that is needed however a "real-ish" story is fine. Not a fake story but some sort of scenario is good too.
A fake story, that is acted takes away from the "realism" of it all.
A real story line or intent of the ler tickling the lee for a reason works good too.

i like the story scenarios in clips. the main reason is because a simple tickling scene gets "ho-hum" after a while. there are a kajillion producers out there and all the clips are pretty much the same. some attractive lee is strapped down on a table, bed, etc and gets tickled in all of their ticklish spots. if you seen one, you have seen them all. there is no real distinction between the producers.

however, some of the story scenarios have bad acting and you cant wait until the tickling action. i think the story clips can be bad because the producer is simply trying to make a tickling clip, NOT a good story. that's why the scenarios come out real campy.

but imagine this. how about one of our talented writers on this forum (me included....hehehehehehe) have one of their stories made into a tickling video? speaking for myself, but how many of you would like to see a "Ticklish Nerd" tickling video? how many others would love to see a tickling video about on one of Dave2112's stories, or Invisible Ink, or TickleMantis, or Ticklishscribe, or TQLR, or Slavertickler, or Tickledorange, and so on an so forth. (if i left someone off the list i mentioned, believe me it wasnt intentional. we have a LOT of great writers besides the ones i mentioned). i can definitely say i would LOVE to see that done. that way you get BOTH worlds. a good story and GREAT tickling.

that's what i want to see happen. now, is any producer willing to try it? i would love to see one of my stories come to life....

I love to see videos that employ "scenarios," rather than story lines. Don't get me wrong; I would love to see a complete story with lots of tickling, and I fully agree with PrimeTime about turning tickling stories into films There are a couple of his stories which I would love to see on film.

However, Story lines typically fall apart because video producers are not talented enough to film them, models are not talented enough to act them out, and the budget necessary to produce a believable environment to add credibility to that story line would certainly surpass any profits the film might realize.

Scenarios are a better choice because they require no expensive sets, very limited acting (other than selling the limited dialogue), and no more production acumen than video company owners already possess.

The ultimate question, which I'm sure all video producers must ask is, "Why should I go out of my way to produce something with greater substance, when my customer base is more than willing to pay me for the same old stuff repeated to infinity? And, I can produce the cookie-cutter material in half the time."

California Star originally had the right idea for producing tickling vids with story lines, but that's probably because they are a Porno company first, and the formula for porno vids is to envelop sex acts with campy storylines. It is a great idea, even though they don't cater to the tickling fetish - they cater to the porno industry, which means tits and ass first; campy storyline second, and ticklishness, dead last.

Perhaps a newcomer will emerge in the Tickling community who will have both artistic vision, and a flair for producing quality tickling vids, who will take us all to the next level. Until then, I say forget the drama. Just create a small underlying scenario that will ignite the imagination of the viewer, and tickle on!

I don't think we need to be talking classic film quality here in terms of storyline. Think of videos many considered classic. Something like Ticklish Merchandise. It was made by having awesome ticklers and a great ticklee, but having them operating against a scenario that had them interact in some way added to it for me at least. Moving ahead a few years, I prefer Tickle Central's clips that have some sort of storyline over the others.

I like the story provided I don't have to pay for it. For example if I am paying $10 for a clips for sale clip, I want ten minutes of tickling. If you want to add 3 minutes of story on top of that all to the good. However if I am only getting 7 minutes of tickling than not good.

I tend to be a bit of a fan for interrogation scenes. I kind of like "revenge" scenes, too---not necessarily where the 'ler is upset with the 'lee, but where there is supposedly some playful tension and tickling is a way of dealing with it.

definatly without. i dont even mind the story too much its just the dialouge i hate, as it is usually corney, poorly written or poorly acted. keep all the knick knacks and details (bondage, whatnot) but otherwise just go for the main goal of the video!
