A take-off of this thread;

Does it seem like some people feel the tickle fetish shouldn't be viewed the same way as any other fetishes? People usually complain about a "taboo" surrounding tickling, but will also outright admit it's often sexual in nature. Some question why tickle fetish videos are pulled from YouTube, but would they have the same indignation if fap material dedicated to spanking was pulled? If a MySpace page dedicated to diaper fetishes was pulled, should it qualify as intolerance or hatred?

Do you think tickling fetish and it's porn shouldn't be viewed the same as spanking, bondage or any other sexual fetish material?

Of course. Why would it be looked at differently? It's a fetish like any other fetish. But I have often experienced that tickling fetishists are totally intolerant toward other fetishes, look at it as being way more harmless, not as weird or totally normal in comparison to other fetishes.

Tickling is not technically a fetish, it's a paraphilia. A fetish is the sexualization of an inanimate object (or body part). Paraphilias are behaviors or fantasies outside the "norm" that bring about (or, in some cases, are necessary for) sexual arousal. Paraphilias and fetishes are defined in the DSM (diagnostic and statistical manual for mental disorders), meaning that these are considered sexual disorders.

I don't give a crap if it's a disorder. I have no problem with it and I feel that the people here and others who have these "disorders" are possibly more in tune with their sexuality than others.

There are occasionally people who claim to like tickling without anything sexual being involved. So I'm not trying to group everyone into the same category. Just letting people who may be interested know.

I think a fetish or a paraphilia is only a problem if you can't have sexual arousal without it at all.

First of all I really liked the kinda "who cares?!" between the lines of your post melancholy_chic.

And 'bout the question...
Due to the fact that I do not consider tickling a fetish, I would just state that our world still got a huge lack of tolerance. :seesaw:
