Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Blog

Just came across this Serenity/Firefly thread. I really loved that universe too.

But I haven't seen any mention of one of Whedon's latest projects, Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Blog. It's...ummm...it's a little hard to explain. Dr. Horrible is a super-villian, but a really wimpy, geeky one. One of his goals is to get up the nerve to talk to Penny, the cute girl he keeps seeing in the laundromat. His nemesis "Captain Hammer" played by Nathan Fillion (an regular in the Whedon-verse) is a muscle-headed jerk. And he's trying to get into the "Evil League of Evil" run by Bad Horse, who is...a horse...and is...umm..bad, I guess. 🙂

And as the "singalong" part of the title suggests, this is a musical. Characters break into song every few minutes.

It's very odd, very tongue-in-cheek, and I loved it. Anyone else?

I checked, really I did. I searched for Dr. Horrible, and drhorrible.com, and neither showed up. It's all the darn search function's fault! Yeah, that's the ticket...

I totally agree! I, too, thought there was another thread about the
same thing, and couldn't find it when using the search function.
Since I started a thread, at least I could find one of them.

Maybe there is something wrong with the search.

At any rate, Dr. Horrible = hilarity. Go, now! 😉

Last I heard, there was talk of sellin' it on iTunes, but if you search enough, you'll find it in archives on various sites where he advertised the effort. 's how I saw it...

It IS available on ITunes. I have the subscription. There's more planned. Joss can't sit still too long or he'll turn into one of those creatures he so loves to create!
