Earliest Tickling Video (60's, 70's, 80's?)

How about we start a search for the earliest tickling video made? I am sure there were some made in the 70's, definitely the 80's, and possibly even the 60's. There is something about the way sex/fetish videos were made back then that the modern day ones do not have. Call it first generation "newness" if you will, meaning that it seems like all the ideas have been used now and it would be nice to see what it was like when they first started doing tickling videos. I seem to remember an ad in a Hustler magazine that advertized tickling videos. The magazine was from the late 70's. Does anyone actually have any tickling videos from the 70's, or have any idea which video companies would have made them?

Lee, I have a video called "Tickle Scenes" from TAO productions. It's actually an assortment of several tickle "Super-8" films from the 60s (the things people used to have before video became popular 🙂 ). Quite nice and old-fashioned, but of course the video version was produced much later (in the 90s, I think).

The first tickle video I saw was "Tickled Pink". I saw it in a 25c-booth of a sex shop on Times Square in the early 80s. Later, I also found "Encore Enterprises" (EE) and the first CalStar tickle vid "Tied & Tickled". But I know that others were there before, like SOA or TJ.

Lee, there were very few direct tickling vids before 1984, and as Hal noted, most before that time were done on super8mm film (I still have both my 8mm camera and projector! How about you, Hal?). The original Tied and Tickled was on super8, as was Tickled Pink and Tickled and Teased. There were a few more, but I did not have access to them at the time.

Tied & Tickled by Calstar and the Maybird 1 were released in '84, and yes, I still have them both. There were also some by Nu-Vue, SOA (Which I am DYING to trade for, mentioning in passing...), Prestige and a couple of others that didn't last long.

Is there any way to transfer those 8mm vids to VHS, or better yet, to DVD? I am still wondering about the tickling vids I saw listed in Hustler. I remember another magazine that listed all kinds of short sex movies with every title imaginable. A few of those titles I remember were Tongue Tickle, Twat Tickling, Pussy Tickling, Ticklish Tammy, and the aforementioned Tickled Pink. I am just curious to see what these films would like like.

A good video studio should be able to do that. The problem: Most of the old super 8 were without sound. I can't help you with the other questions though. Maybe somebody else can bring out a "Revival" vid with those old flicks? Bet a lot of us would be interested in them.

BTW: I never had a Super 8 cam (or a vid cam). Always been only a "user", not a producer, I'm afraid.

I dont recall seeing any videos prior to 1989 or 90.
But I do recall reading a penthouse forum in 1976
(which I still have) where a reader wrote in a story
of tieing and tickling his girlfriend in a standing postition.
That one story awoke somthing that was inside of me that was
there thats never went back to bed again.

I know about those 25 cent booths in the 70's. A few HOM films had tickling in it (like PERIL OF PRUNELLA) but the first one that I recall that had more than a 2 minute scene was called WOMEN IN TROUBLE, which had a tickling theme running thru as well as other forms of torture and bondage. The film TURNABOUT, also from HOM had a longer tickling scene than most, running about 5 to 10 minutes.

However, MrHyde, many of you know, used to have 8mm custom tickling films shot and he eventually transfered them to video and sold them under the business name of PDD. This was a loooong time ago. I have a few of his old videos, but they are now collectors items. They're not great by today's standards but at the time, Holy Cow!

I remember having Nu Vue videos delivered to my place of work because I was still living at home. I have an old video of Savanna getting tickled (rest her soul and soles) as she went by the name "Silver Cane".

There were several 8mm films that circulated in the late 60's and 70's that had tickling in them, and they were all silent. They are rather hard to find these days, and people were even hard pressed to get copies in the 90's.

From people I talked to, there was some tickling material made with Irving Claw of Bettie Page fame in the 50's, sadly this material seems to have been destroyed (along with a huge amount of his bondage and light S&M stuff) when he was under attack by the government over pornography back then. Reports are from people who saw such at the time, or owned private sets distributed before the destruction.

Most of the material that the above posters speak of is on mark. Earliest stuff with sound started to pop in the late 70's when the very first home video cams started to show up, but it was rare. HOM, CalStar, Platinum, and VidTeck were the first big players, but that was mid 80's for a start.
