Glad that it is healing. I am sad to tell you that, as you get older, you heal more and more slowly. :grandpa:
 
I already notice that Mils. Thanks for telling me. I thought I'd be healed within a few days. But I did read even a minor ankle sprain takes minimum 2-3 weeks to heal. I'm just hoping it heals on it's own. I'm trying to be careful but I don't want to have to wind up back at another doctor. Fortunately, I have my therapy friend across the hall at work to watch my progress and he even wants to give me ankle exercises later this month. He told me no running for a minimum of 3 weeks but I feel it's going to wind up being a bit longer. I'm actually enjoying the break to be honest.
 
There is no point in re-injuring the ankle by stressing it again too soon. It is best to follow the advice of your friend who's willing to give you the recovery exercises.
 
Obviously, I am very happy about the NLCS so far. Can't ask for more than two wins on the road to start off. :bouncybou
I think it is hilarious that the visiting team has won the first three games in the ALCS, making all 5 games played so far as visiting team wins.

It is time for the home team to win two games in a row at Dodger Stadium. 😛

It is sad to note that the Dodgers have a bad record when playing in two consecutive World Series:
1952/53: lost both
1955/56: won first, lost second
1965/66: won first, lost second
1977/78: lost both
2017/18: lost both

The Yankees are the last team to win two consecutive World Series. In fact, they won three in a row: 1998, 1999, and 2000.
The Yankees also have the record for most World Series won in a row, 5. That was 1949 to 1953 inclusive.

I don't follow the NFL, but even I remember the Cleveland Browns having a season of all losses, no wins and no ties, back in 2017.
 
I was going to guess the Yankees but I thought maybe someone in the "2000's" won 2 in a row. Shows you how hard it is a quarter of a century ago.

The Lions had an 0-16 season also maybe 7 or 8 years ago I'd say.
 
Well I don't think the Jets will lose every game...but I don't think they will win more than 3 either.
 
Today was the first day I stepped out of bed without ankle pain since I fell 3 weeks ago.
 
Thank you Mils. Today is the 2nd day in a row that happened so it feels good like I'm forgetting anything is wrong with it for the most part. I still have a little swelling but it's down a lot to the point I'm not feeling any pain 95% of the day or more which is a good feeling...but I am not rushing back to running. I am planning around Thanksgiving during my favorite break of the year to start again (if my therapy friend across the hall gives me the ok) but I already have decided I don't need to run every single day anymore...things happen for a reason and the last couple of years part of me wanted to change/stop but I wouldn't allow myself to. This has forced me so I bought some hand weights equipment trying to mix up other exercises to keep it interesting instead of doing the same exact thing every single day...just figuring out how many days a week I want to run besides all that.

Anyway, what's your World Series prediction?
 
Yes, it's good to vary your exercise routine so it doesn't become boring.

I predict Dodgers in 6 games, but I'm not betting on it. 😛
 
I'm off today and working from home Tuesday so you may see me posting at random times.
I think this series may go 7 games.
