It was fun but I wouldn't have minded staying home...at least it was not as cold as it will be today and tomorrow.
 
Glad you enjoyed your day in the city. I will not enjoy going to the ophthalmologist today in the cold.
 
I think I've gotten used to the cold weather now as long as it's not windy.
 
I get used to cold weather, but I'm still unhappy going outside in it. 🥶
 
It sucks especially because it's not even winter yet. I just hope it doesn't last till May lol.
 
3 inches of snow fell here...and now the very cold weather is coming. Ugh.
 
We wound up getting about 5 inches...it kept snowing all morning when they said it would stop. Now I woke up and the wind chill said -13F. Ouch.
 
Today will feel like spring compared to the last few days.
 
And now it's heavy rain...my last work day before Christmas though.
 
Lucky I went out in it...at least we are not into the frigid weather we've had. It seems to get colder a day or 2 and then a little milder for a day or 2. I can't believe Christmas Week is coming.
 
Merry Christmas Eve Mils even if you do not celebrate it...I know you find the seven fishes interesting...you going to go your Chinese Food and Movie route Christmas Day?
 
Not this year. I'm invited to an elaborate Christmas dinner tomorrow night.
 
How was it? That's great though...I think everyone is thinking it's time for a diet with all the good food lately.
 
I did enjoy the party on Wednesday night. Yesterday I stayed home out of the cold and watched "The Gilded Age" on demand.
 
Never seen it. The big warm up is on the way Mils...compared to what we've had since Thanksgiving it's going to feel like spring for several days.
 
It's going to feel like spring the next few days almost.
 
The warmup is most welcome. When I was a kid, we expected a "January thaw" also known as "false spring" every year.
 
Yes it seems earlier this year than most but then again we started off with very cold weather for most of December. The first 16 days of December were below average for NYC temperatures and that is very difficult to do.
 
I will be happy when the real spring comes shortly after my birthday. ☀️
