Yeah Steph, but how long could you lie there and keep a straight face without giggling; especially when everyone else around was taunting you with "cootchie coo Steph...tickle, tickle"..."I see you grinning"..."Oh God Steph I know that tickles SO MUCH" 😀

That's what always killed my sister and Traci....not only were they extremely ticklish...but had me, my buddies, and all the other girls using psychological tickletorture on them as they fought not to laugh. To make it even worse, some of those girls were so ticklish, just seeing another girl being tickled gave them the giggles 😀

Billy and me also had another contest...see who could make the other guy's younger sister laugh the loudest. We'd sneak into the house, catch sis and Traci (his sis) by surprise, and proceed tickling the daylights out of them...him tickling Becky, me ahold of Traci. The tickling contest usually ended as a very loud tie 😀

It's a good point darlin'...The answer? who knows? (I'm still too new and never been put in those circumstances before. Maybe one day I'll go to a party and get to find out....

At that time (early-mid 1970's), it was no different to my sis and her (girl) friends than arm wrestling and other tests of strength us guys competed in. How the girls ever came up with the idea of a contest to see who could withstand being tickled the longest is beyond me....but believe I speak for my school buddies in saying we were sure glad they did 🙂

I played this game once with my bro's gf, when i was younger..except I made her hold her arms up while I tickled her bare armpits, with whatever i could find . She could laugh, but couldn't pull them down. aaah those were the days.....

You too honey--hope you & the little woman end up doing something special for V-day...We ended up in Reno with our best friends (her birthday), spent too much $ we didn't have but ended up having a good time anyway--it's always fun to get to hang w/the pals in someplace different like an out of state casino suite, ya know??

OMG Perry--you must be SOOOOOOOO smart!

I took meteorology in college as my "elective" science course, stupidly thinking "clouds, rain and all that--how hard can it be?"
I realized something was terribly wrong when I saw I was the ONLY girl in a room full of male aviation majors. If I hadn't been so cute in those days I would have NEVER eeked out the crappy C+ that I received.

I literally cried after getting my textbook and reading thru it for the first time "I will NEVER EVER get ANY of this!" I guess the boys felt sorry for me and really helped me until it made semi-sense. Anyway YOU my friend have my sincere admiration. People always laugh at the weather reporters ("God how wrong could they be, they're SUCH idiots!") and I always have to correct them--OMG, you have NO IDEA the education they need for that job--it is all mathematical equations from hell!! People never realize it.

Oh and how cute is your little family!!!

Thanks Steph....those are the folks who keep me grounded. Becky is not only my little sis, but also my inspiration and greatest hero. She earned her college degree from Georgia Tech after both an abusive failed marriage at 18, and flunking out her freshman year....she also saved my life in 1995. My granny is in reality my mother, since she's taken such good care of me (and Becky) since mom died when we were kids. Those little angels (sis's kids) are who keep me humble...especially my niece Maddie 🙂

Steph....I'm not a pro meteorologist, and never went to college. After a tornado blasted our home apart when I was 12, I began researching weather and climatology; studying the patterns which created violent storms and tornadoes, and over time have become a competent amateur forecaster. As a Skywarn spotter, I scan the skies in my area during tornado watches, and use my training to assist the National Weather Service in getting early warnings of approaching dangerous storms to the public....hopefully saving lives.
