Erection nad headache problems

So Tuesday, I was "enjoying" some nice photos. Anyways, about 1/2 way thru, my head started hurting like hell. And after, it was really bad. It was one of those headaches that is in the back of the head.
I didn't think anything of it except Excedrine pills....
Later that evening, same thing. I didn't even finish cause my headache got worse as I was "enjoying".
Today, same thing. So immediately after finishing, I took a few Excedrine.

Point is, it seems that horniness or erection is causing serious headaches for me.
I have not unusual stress lately, no real change of diet or sleep...

I know the cliché response "...see a doctor..." but does anyone else ever have this problem? Doing a search on webmd for "erection causes headache" did no real good. I hate going to the doctor for anything cause then there is the headache of fighting with the insurance...

it's stress related...mentally or physically or maybe even both. If you're sure you aren't stressed out then you should take notice of your body posture. Relax the neck and jaw and lean back when sitting on that computer chair getting your perv on!! Your body is real tense when masturbating...which means you're stressed, because the brain affects the body.

Take a break from masturbating. Get out this weekend and get your freak on with a lady or few if you're horny.

if you drink a lot of soda or caffeinated beverages, get some water in your system. that may help headaches go away, as such can be a sign of dehydration.

How's your blood pressure? Sexual activity temporarily increases your blood pressure overall, so it seems like that extra blood pounding in your head could cause you pain, especially if there's some preexisting problem. Do you get headaches when you go running, or exert yourself in any other way?

Otherwise... the muscle tension idea makes the most sense, since we naturally tense up as we approach orgasm. Trying some relaxation techniques, lying down, or otherwise changing your posture might help.

In any case, I'm not an expert; I don't think any of us are. So I know you don't want to hear "Go see a doctor," but if this problem is arising out of the blue, and doesn't go away, there might be something significant to it.

I experienced the same a couple of times and it's not fun at all.
The times I experienced it I have been pretty tired cause of alot of work etc.

For me a good night sleep and some relaxing did the trick.

Cavum, did it start in the front of your head and then moved to the back? And now you always seem to have a little pain till you start sex, and then it gets real bad. Also do you feel a little dizzy too, after the bad pain?

This got so bad for me that I had to go to the emergency room, and get a cat scan. Still the doctors don't know what is up. Now I need to get an MRI to see what is up.
My biggest problem is there are very few doctors on the Big Island and I have to do all this thru the emergency room.

If this is the case with you and you find something out please let me know. Because they have no idea what is going on with me.

I got worried and thought I needed to get it checked out. Hopefully it will just go away on its own. But I am still going to get the MRI.

Any way I need to find out if there is still a brain left after my band days in the 80’s. I sometimes think it might be from all the parting I did then. My band didn’t make it big, but we sure partied like we did. LOL!!!

I know someone who worked out a lot and got big fairly quickly. He began having this issue because his muscles were tighter and caused strain in the shoulders and neck when he was masturbating. That strain can cause a headache as well.

Does this happen when you do it laying in bed at night? If not, then it may possibly be simple eye or muscle strain causing it...or a combination of the two. If you want/need the images to get yourself going, maybe try viewing them for a bit until you're in the mood and then move to a more comfortable location to satisfy yourself.

If it's happening no matter when or where, then please do see a doctor.

Hmmmm, it does only happen when I am in the horizontal position, having sex in bed. When I sit up right it doesn’t happen. I do get the headache in the back of my head, but nothing close to the one I get in the horizontal position.
I do bicycle about 10 to 20 miles a day.
I have stopped drinking sodas, and I am in the process of getting rid of coffee. Thinking that caffeine might be the cause, just I love coffee sooo much. Living in Seattle for ten years, during the 90's, got me hooked good. I am putting one less scoop of coffee each week.
Also hopefully the MRI will reveal more.

Are you out there? I've a couple of theories about your condition, and one of them is NOT GOOD (let's just say, it'll make your insurance issues seem like a party and I hope to God I'm wrong about it.)

The world was supposed to end several times before. 6/6/06 was one of them....

Anyways, It seems this problem has kinda went away. Maybe it was just a fluke, but I am still curious.
