Ethnicity and ticklishness- Observations?

Allow me to begin by stating that this thread in no way intends to make any definite connections between ticklishness and ethnicity in any empirical or statistically sound fashion. The purpose of this thread is to explore anecdotal evidence supplied by you and I to explore our experiences with ethnicity and ticklishness. Thus I pose the following questions:

Have you ever observed a correlation between ticklishness and a particular ethnic group?

Do you believe that your ticklishness is impacted in anyway by your cultural upbringing, race and/or ethnic identity?

Do you have a preference for race or ethnicity when tickling or being tickled by another person?

Do you favor tickling media produced by one country over another?

Are you aware of any scientific research that points to a connection between ethnicity, race and tickling?

These are questions I have wondered about for a while and am curious to explore through the collective experiences of the group. Post away.

I don't believe there is a difference at all when it comes to racial ticklishness. I've tickled the bare feet of hispanic, caucasian, asian, and Indian girls and it depends on the person. I've tickled some extremely ticklish feet from each of the above races and also some feet that were not ticklish. I remember this very cute and tiny Mexican girl with the sexiest feet you would every see that I went to college with. She wore nice shoes(especially strappy sandals) all the time with very well kept feet. She always wore nail polish, especially a dark red that went with her mild complextion. I only knew her from an English class and became acquainted during that semester and I would always sit next to her and check out her feet. I just longed to tickle her feet and wondered if they were ticklish. Needless to say, her pretty feet drove me nuts! I did not have the chance or the nerve to try to tickle her feet. However, I decided that I was going to tickle her feet on the last day of class. Unfortunetly, on the last day of class she wore knee high boots with a skirt. She looked hot but definetly a let down and it was like the only time she did not wear a sandaled shoe that semester. I knew I blew my opportunity but as luck would have it, I ran into her a few months later sitting by herself reading at a bench on campus. She was wearing black open toed mules and I decided I would go for it. We struck up a coversation(I don't remember what we discussed.) I just looked for a tickle opportunity. I decided to ask her about her painted toe nails. I complemented her pedicure and said it looked nice and she said thank you and then I asked what size shoe she wore and she said a size 6. Then I picked up her foot and removed her shoe which she did not mind and I pretended to observe her shoe with her barefoot in my other hand. Then I tickled her foot and asked if she was ticklish and she said "NO" I said "I bet you are "and spent about a couple minutes tickling her foot with no reaction what so ever. She told me that it felt good but she was not ticklish on her feet. It was a big let down because I thought her feet would be extremley ticklish but they were not. I know I got off track but when I saw this post, it brought back that memory for some reason.

I guess you're asking for personal opinions? I can only speak about my own experiences. As a European, we're way less scared of being naked than Americans seem to be. Maybe it's because here in US, it's strictly a sexual thing, not so much overseas. As an Italian, it's a race that lends itself to sensuality by nature. We're all about passion: great food, great wine, great sex. Tickling seems to blend in organically, my just my 2 cents...

But honestly? I don't think one has anything to do with the other...

Hmmm... Most of my experience has been with white women, but...

The few Latinas I've tickled seemed to be the most sensitive. There's one I'm particularly interested in right now, but I'll have to see if things work out. We might end up going out this weekend. I'll let y'all know if she's as ticklish as I think she probably is.... 😀

A lot of black girls seem to be ticklish too. I wouldn't mind finding out if one in particular at my office is ticklish. She even tickled me once, but I was too surprised at the moment to retaliate. I suppose I should.... 😀

hello all! I've travelled a lot in Asia (thailand,Cambodia, Vietnam, bali) and it seems to me that asian girls are frequently very ticklish (all the gils that i have known there). More than european i think

i havent had any experiences with different ethnicities and tickling yet, but i have heard rumours from several places and remember reading somewhere that people with red hair are about 3 times more ticklish than the average person. dont know if its true or not, but i hope to find out one day. peace..........BLUE_THUNDER

I've only tickled a couple of asian girls playfully and found that they were quite ticklish but i've seen others that are not. I've tickled girlfriends and friends and the majority were ticklish in some way although there were a couple who were totally not ticklish. I agree that it depends on the person and not the ethnicity
