......I have pleasure in launching the TMF,s official ENGLAND "Euro 2004" thread!
So whats every ones view on the big game tomorrow? I,m as English as pint of stella artois but, I think we are in for a bloody good hiding of "les frogs". Lets face it, if Zidane can avoid one of his industrial strength gallic sulks, he could beat England by himself.
Then there is Henri, surely destined to be one of the greatest footballers the game has ever seen, absolutely devastating in the final third of the pitch when given even the slightest chance of a scoring opportunity.
How about Viera? the frog midfield enforcer, with a fantastic 90 minute "engine" he will be all over England like a garlic seasoned rash. When he gets bored with stopping us, he will entertain himself by running rings round us.
Too pessimistic? what do you think folks?
Americans please feel free to give us your considered opinions on how best to solve the England "problem position" on left midfield or how badly we are going to miss Rio Ferdinand at centre half, or any other aspect of Euro 2004, I know how well informed you all are on the worlds most popular sport, and its important to have your intelligent, considered, analysis of "the beautifull game"......blimey!! Lord Lucan just jumped over my garden fence riding Shergar!!!
