Everyone who voted Bush...

Bush is a man of conviction, right or wrong you know where he stands. People who say the war in Iraq is about his dad are over simplistic and don't see the big picture.
Give him a chance, he will do the world good.

it's not about his father. it's about perpetual war to profit the manufacturers of arms. it's about destroying resistance to american capitalism. that is the big picture.

the small picture is a young womon dying in the streets because she couldn't get a safe abortion.

give him a chance, and he will plunder every life and resource on the planet for the sake of profit of the corporations that put him in the presidency.

Everyone here just needs to calm down. Bush won and everyone attacking each other isn't going to make a difference. Instead of screaming your heads of at everyone who didn't vote for Bush or Kerry or whoever, you should make the best of what you have. Try looking on the bright side of things for a little while.

I truly would like to add you to my ignore list. Yet I am not allowed because you are a 'moderator', presumably so you can run your little artist forum. In my opinion, a person given the privilege of moderator should not actively try to talk down to/ taunt other users.

ROFL! I'm not a moderator. And for you to still be brooding about that without even knowing what the hell is going on now proves how presumptual you are! Who the hell are you to talk after saying that?! LOL !!!

You really need to let the past go dude, that happened a long time ago and to tell you the truth, its still possible I could be one later on. What was done was just to appease a spiteful crowd of clearly biased people. I haven't brought it up since then. Its ironic, you'd think I would be the one that couldn't let it go. LOL, man you really kicked yourself in the ass on this one! ROFL! Your reply was totally unprovoked and this what you get for assuming things, both about that and my feelings on this issue.

And ma man, George W WON! YEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAWWW! (no I'm not a Texan or a cowboy, but its still funny) LOL ^^

Awww, don't be mad. Theres no need to be mad at me. I think you (and he) are displacing your anger. You for the outcome of the election, and him for something that happened a long time ago that he was foolish enough to bring up and I capitalized on it.

So whats the problem? I don't think we should argue. We know how thats going to end, another thread closed.

There's plenty of a reason to be mad at you. You support Bush in all of his fascism.

Hey Vlad, where do you live? I wanna see if you can dodge a shotgun blast.

It is fun and all, but I would suggest against this kind of 12 gauge humour. 😉

And if you can't avoid it, I would suggest 00 pellets. From my books they seem best suited against larger game - like humans. 😀

...

About the serious matter: I would suggest supporters of the winning candidate to keep in mind they might be on the wrong end of a bad pun, next time.

As many said, USA are founded on [a "mediated" form of] democracy. So, try and avoid alienating your own countrymen.

My personal concern is about foreign politics. As we say in bad old italy... we'll stay by the window, and wait for the outcome.

Reg's.

Doesn't the fact the Republican party sanctioned the use and positioning of POLL Challengers in Cleveland to arbitrarily determine who could be pulled out and questioned as to their 'eligibility' to vote? And...focused towards African-Americans? Does this not wreak of something happening in Germany 50 years ago? C'mon...all you BUSH BASTARDS.
Get real! The man's a moron and the fact that ALL of our activities on line, even on this web site, can be placed under scrutiny. Thanks to DUBYA!
I for one am scared! Trust me....he will reinstate the draft! He will provide more tax cuts to the wealthy. The VP indicated on the debate he couldn;t wait to get back into the private sector and fleece more money out of people and the government.
Do you our troops are NOT getting 3 squares a day? No money for food!
Do you know that they really are suffering from lack of equipment.
This BUSH guy is a poor leader and we all need to get together and demonstrate how unhappy we are!
Peacefully!

Very well said Kalamos. I'm sure alot more people that voted the way they did thought much about this in retrospect and for the future. I don't think its fair for anyone to say people voted while blindfolded or with whool pulled over their eyes. As I said in my first post, we knew who we were voting for, and why. We were more informed this time around. It just so happens, based on whats an undeniable fact now, that more people supported Bush in the end. He won both the electoral and popular vote.

If people really wanted Kerry to win, those people who are not registered or simply did not vote should have, if they are democratically alligned, like myself (although I supported Bush this time, I didn't last time). For all we know it could have made a difference. When it boils down to nickles and dimes like this election did, every vote really does count in the greater scheme of things.

I think this was a very fair election. People had two very strong candidates to vote for, and both feel strongly for what they believe in. But numbers would have it that one was clearly a winner.

I appriciate Kerry for not being a sore loser. If this doesn't work out, I'd definitely vote for him next time or a better candidate if one is available. Being a democrat myself means I would find more in common with a democrat. It wasn't so this time, and I'm in no way biased for it. It wouldn't have mattered to me if the winner was a rebublican or democrat.

lol shedevil you poor fool, its sad that must people here dont understand how Bush is really a great leader. God bless those poor souls who lost there lives in sept 11; Bush took command and sought out justice which he is stil carryin on as we speak. He has patience and courage during this time, he sent over troops to help make this world safe and using a more 'politically friendly' option rather spending a few dozen bombs to wipe terrorist off the map.

Also you questioned Gods exsistence, please you are now even a bigger fool as God is what created you and your family and you mock Gods exsistence. If i was you and i glad im not, as i would be embarrased to ever open my mouth so i wouldnt hear what was comming out.

Really all of you should be prayin to God thanking him for George W cause at the moment he is all you got keeping America and the world safe.

Don't clear it too much, if you know what I'm saying. Does this thread really need to end on a bad note, folks?

I really don't care who gets to be president becase frankly I don't think presidents have the power that we are suposed to think that they do. I think the choice of who it is is predetermined and who ever gets it is just a puppet who carries out orders of someone higher up. Oh they may have a bit of power to do a few little things like messing with taxes and minimum wage but, that's about the extent of it. To me the reason America warred on Iraq in the first place was something that the hidden person or persons who really run this country wanted and Bush is the patsy. I don't know exactly what era this began or if it has always been this way but, I honestly believe that the human mind is far too advanced and devious in this day and age to do things fairly and the "right" way. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the anti-christ already has himself a seat among the higher ups in the government anyway. Sometimes I wonder...is he sitting in some hidden room, at the goverment's equivalent of the fabled "Round Table"? Is he calling any of the shots yet or just waiting, watching, biding his time, waiting for the moment to strike or maybe he's just now forming in some poor soul's womb. Hard to say but, I think the moron is already lurking among us... Scary isn't it.

Its a very legitimate theory as well and I support it to a degree. But just remember that God has the final say in everything and it's only with His allowance of it that things come to pass. God's people have nothing to fear. Whether things are winding up or winding down, coming to a start or coming to a finish, coming to the beginning or coming to the end, not a think happens without it be allowed for some reason. Humans are only human and they cannot see things in their completeness. Thats why sometimes God seems contradictory or makes no sense at all. His plans can often span centuries before we are even aware of the results.

Religiously speaking the anti-christ, much like Lucifer, is being given permission by God to infiltrate the government and the churches. The Vatican and the Government are being systematically reorganized for the coming of the anti-christ. It's morals and values are being taken away, so they are more in compliance with "new age" points of view. This is all an attempt to weaken our sense of beliefs so when the actual event itself takes place it makes it harder for us in discernment to decide what to do. Because our morals are now clouded and things are being allowed which should not be and things that aren't being allowed should be, it makes it that much easier to infiltrate and consume the minds of the world.

Think of it like denying your body the nutrients it needs to work efficiently. Eventually your immune system will break down and you'll succumb to illness.

I believe only God's people are the only ones truely preparing for this or taking it seriously. Any one else showing any interest is probably getting their information from science fiction novels, and those tend to be popular opinion rather than fact.

We're already living in the End Times, and it doesn't bother me. I'm a child of God and am one of the happiest creatures on the face of this Earth. Satan is nothing, and he lost a long time ago. This is just the culmination of his defiance to the one who created him. It's rather childish. Sure, he has undefinable power, but it was given to him and it will be taken away in due time.

Let us not make this a religious issue. For surely with everyone's differing opinions and beliefs, we have the receipe for diaster, and nothing makes the enemy happier than division, malice, and uncertainty. I'd sooner have this thread closed than to allow this to continue.

Shoving the pope aside up there, I think we should have 3 Presidents, one republican, one democratic, and one who hates them both. Also do the same numbers for the house and senate. Then try and pass things and run the country. I guarantee people will learn to start getting along, and people will come to more compromises, and everyone will be more appeased since their representation is in office.

Also, the outcome could be completely different and not as bad as it's been made up to be. No one really knows but God himself.

A parable a visiting priest told us when he held the mass-

" A monk was walking along a road leading back to the monostary. Upon his way he saw a woman, tired, hungry, homeless and with a baby in her arms. The monk looked up to the heavens and asked God "Why? Why do you allow this to happen to this woman? Have you forgotten her? Have you denied her?

Why haven't you done anything about this?!"

A moment passed and God answer- "I have done something about it- I created you.""

So, its really about the common good of humankind. I genuinely feel no matter whats going on deep within the government, that George W Bush is a good man and is trying to do the right thing, as Kerry would be trying to. But, its left up to Bush to do it this time. Its not so much a religious issue as it is a moral one. Life is about morals to it's very core. Its about what you live by, not under what you live.

You can only ever try as hard as you can. Bush is no different, we are no different. We will either succeed together as a country or fail miserably. One thing is certain however, no single man is the cause of it. It is all our collective responsibility, as a nation, as a people, as simply human beings.

Vlad, once again your words of wisdom have set my mind a bit at ease. I do however have one thing that I don't quite agree with and that's the part about the beast having God's permission to set his dark plans in motion. I can see God "allowing" it for a time before stepping in and putting a stop to it but, permission from God just doesn't sound right to me. In fact -no offense, brother- it sounds really close to blasphemy as if to say they were in league with one another.

While its a good idea and it could work in theory, there would be just that much more squabbling going on and if everyone has equal power nothing will ever get done. The founding fathers knew this, and so made the system the way it is. The flaws aren't completely in the system, but they way we percieve the system should be ran.

Unfortunately, people believe different things, and when you bring that to the table theres hardly ever agreement. The system works the way it is, but not well enough under how we are using it. The founding fathers had the right idea, it just got fouled up as time went on.

In some instances, the answers are in the past, not the future.

Thank you Napolean, however I like my theory because there is squabbling anyway, so I don't care. That means I'm right and I am the best ever. God I love it.

LOL, no my friend, they are NOT in league with eachother.

When Lucifer fell he swore to God that he would bring down His people. God's like 'go ahead and try, but either your end has been sealed'.

See, the common mistake people make when taking in this thought (like you are in this instance) is thinking that God is somehow obligated to stop it when WE feel it's gone too far. Like I said, we do not know how He thinks or why things happen the way they do. And to say He's cruel by allowing it or thinking that is also wrong, as we are in no position to assume to know anything of His plans for the world, only us, his followers and children. No matter what you believe or who you serve you are a child of God, and it's just a matter of realizing that and coming to terms with it. God is not a magic genie here to grant us wishes, but He DOES love us and the answers are to be found in following Him.

If christians seem really laid back about it, like it ain't no thang (lol), and sometimes even smug its because they have the answers and life makes more sense to them because the truth of the matter has been imparted on them. It doesn't take a truely blessed person to understand these concepts. The answers to love and happiness are there, and He's always there waiting for you to ask Him and come to Him seeking it.

See, Lucifer is an interesting character, he's actually more human than we are in a way. What do I mean by that? I mean he is so truely blinded by his hate and loathing that he actually thinks defeating the universal church actually accomplishes something and that he has the power to alter God's plans for us as a race on this planet. Lucifer is running out of time, and he knows it. Thats why things are getting worse and worse. He's pissed, he's aggitated, he always has been, from the very moment he thought himself god-like.

Did you know who Lucifer was in Heaven? He was the "lightbearer". Thats what "Lucifer" means. He was the lead prayer angel, and had many angels under him giving praise, honor, and Glory to God. He literally was a becon of light for God. God's radiance flowed through him, and in a moment of folly, he thought he was God because of the power, which was not his own. He became jealous, envious, and managed to take a third of the angels with him during the uprising.

So see, from the very beginning, Lucifer was delusional when he fell from grace. It is still his honest belief that victory over God is possible. So its not so much God not doing anything, its Lucifer doing everything that is not good. He is also a hypocrite however, and can perform miracles and wonders, and these things have happened and will continue to happen.

"A wizard is neither early nor late, he arrives at precisely the moment he is needed!"- Gandalf the Grey (The Lord of the Rings)

God, through Jesus Christ, is the same way as our dear Gandalf the White. God even tells us in the Bible about the future and to not let the thought of it consume us. Lucifer wants us to deliberate, doubt, and ask questions that cannot be answered. See, Lucifer may indeed have knowledge from the tree of life and knowledge, and so knows how to tempt man, but he does NOT know whose names are WRITTEN in the Book of Life.

So see, God has not abandoned us no matter what Lucifer does or says. Our names are either already there or are not. God is like an insurance policy, except this policy, which is His love for us, never waivers and is always constant and true. It has existed before we came to be.

There is nothing my dear friend that Lucifer, his agents, or darkness in it's entiretly can do to God's people. Thats what pisses him off, thats why he's trying so hard, and he already knows where he's going- to hell. Yes, we believe he exists there, but thats not true. He walks the Earth, THIS is his kingdom. Even Satan does not want to be in his own kingdom, his real allotted prison. But he wants to take you, and me, and everyone else there to suffer with him.

He won't get that, and he won't get us. My soul is already spoken for, and there isn't a damn thing that can go on in the world that would ever make me change my mind.

We need to bring an end to the extreme division and polarization in our country. The Republicans and the Democrats need to throw away these labels and work together to make America a strong and united country. The election is over and President Bush has won a second term in the Oval Office. No one man can be given credit for all the positive changes that have occured over the last four years and that will occur over the next four years, Likewise, no one man can be blamed for all the negative situations that have taken place over the last four years and which will continue to come up in the next four years. President Bush will continue to have his supporters and detractors just like John Kerry would have had if he had been elected President of the United States. We as individual Americans need to make our concerns and ideas known to the Congressman who represent us and our State in Washington D.C. and to make these same concerns and ideas known to the members of the House who represent our individal districts. That is the way changes will be made in how this country is run. Ordinary Americans can unpolarize this country and make it united and a lot more positive if we choose to do so. We will NOT do this if we continue to place the blame on the political party that controls the House,Congress and the Oval office and theorize how much better the political party that is not in power would be at doing the job at hand. Now more than ever we have to put party politics behind us and work together to keep the United States a strong and vital member of the world community and a strong and positive nation on the homefront as well. Every person who has contributed to this thread certainly has a right to their own opinion and to express it in the way they see fit but if all of us stressed the positive aspects of living and working in a country as great as the United States is instead of finding fault and accentuating the negative aspects of everyday life in the US we would be much better off both as individual Americans as well as a unified nation.

Amen sir, AMEN!

We really take for granted, as Americans, the freedoms and choices we have. Here we are bitching and whining about passing propostions to keep the government out of some of our affairs, while there are other countries with people fighting for a piece of bread that the government has complete say whether they get it or not.

America forgets how well it has it, and it's at times like these, election times, that we have all the more chances to consider the world situation and where we fit in.

Wouldn't it be funny if God was a chicken (Reminds me of those Far Side comics where Colonal Sanders goes to heaven and thinks 'damn' when he's at the gates and there's stone chickens everywhere, and a chicken running the gate.)
