Like I said before, if I was lieing, I would really be going out of my way to do such a stupid thing. I have a picture with me and 2 of the girls I have posted so far, but even if I showed you guys them, you still wouldnt believe me because you have never seen a picture of me, so you would say it was someone else. Bottom line is, I haven't been able to be a part of this forum since last summer, and all I wanted to do was contribute. I'll probably post a few more tommorow, but if I keep hearing people call me a liar, then I'm done.

Girl #8 went to high school with me as well. And while I don't have any stats on her, I have a short story. First off, a while back I asked her if she was ticklish and she said not really. Anyway,I was sitting in the stands with her while she was getting ready for her volleyball game,(sports again) when she laid down next to me on her back and said she wanted to relax before she had to go warm up with the team. I said ok and squeezed her ribs a couple times. She grabbed my hands and sat back up really quickly and she said not to do that because her stomach didnt feel good. But she didnt show any signs of a tummy ache before and after I tried to tickle her, so I am guessing she is ticklish and she just didnt want to be tickled. So I can only hope her feet are ticklish too because they look really good.

I just think it could be a bit dodgy posting pictures of these girls on a fetish forum without their permission. They would probably be pretty annoyed and shocked if they knew. Please excuse me if they gave you permission or if I missed something.😱

No, your right Irishlad, I don't have their permission. And I'm sure it's a stupid thing on my part to be doing this. But when I thought about all the pics on this forum of girls with their faces, whether it is a mainstream pic or something else, it's not exactly like I am doing something that has never been done before. I started this thread without really thinking about what I was doing. And like I said before, I haven't been able to be on this for over 7 months, so I guess I just wanted to share some information with people that I considered to be lucky.
But on the other hand, I did it in confidence knowing that the odds of someone realizing of the pics on this site without a direct link are nearly impossible. So I went through it anyway. But I know where your coming from IL. And thanks for your opinion. I'll probably post a few more girls today, but I don't know how much longer I will be doing this though because some people are starting to make me feel bad. (I'm not mad though because they have a good point. lol)
 
Don't worry about it Wade. People have different morals, it's a fact of life. If you don't think its wrong, then don't worry what anyone else thinks.

The way I see it, when you post your pics to a place like Facebook, you're accepting the fact that you're leaving them in the hands of the public and that people might post them elsewhere. It's just how the internet works; "right" or "wrong," it's going to happen. And there a are a few other threads like this on the forum, so legally, I don't believe there is a a problem.
 
/delurk. whether or not it's the internet and this is okay and so on isn't really the issue here. Something to think about if you are having moral/ethical doubts is this:

If any of these girls found out you were posting their pictures to a fetish site for 100s/1000s of people to presumably fantasize about them alongside a duplicitous survey, do you, wade, think that they would be okay with it, let alone keep a friendship with you? Would you care?

Well, while I have considered EVERYTHING that everyone has said, and I appreciate it, I think I will still go through with it. It sounds sleezy, but I removed the pics of me and some of the girls I posted on the 0.1% chance they stumble upon the sit. I also removed the pics because I believe I proved that I wasn't making up lies, and that they weren't needed anymore. And while f-book is def. not a fetish site, it's hard for me to think that it didn't cross their mind that some boys wouldn't "stroke the dragon" when they post a bunch of pics of themselves in lingerie or bikinis or making out with other girls and silly stuff like that. I'm not saying that makes it right, but I'm just bringing that up.

And long story short, my life has been pretty crappy. I'm 21, and live with my mom(but thats normal at my current age). I had to drop out of school over a year ago because I didn't have the money. My mom and I barely make monthly minimums on everything, and a week ago she broke her hip. While she came out of surgery fine, she won't be able to work for 2 months, and so I am the only income during that time. So I am kind of going by the motto,"Do what ever *legally* makes you happy." I added the "legally" part because it's the right amount of danger. :woot:

So after I run some errands for my mom, I will be back and post a few more.
 
So let me get this right, you've posted a load of pics of random girls you know to varying degrees on a fetish site and are using a really morally gray argument about them being 'public content' to justify your actions. Also, you've made the incredibly brave decision to remove any photos including yourself.

Thats pretty much the problem right there. You're invading someone else's privacy and you know it. You know these girls would be pissed at you if they found out despite your assertions that

I also assume that they use access controls on facebook so that only selected people can see their photos, not making them available to the entire universe.

I'm sorry dude but I have a problem with your attitude on this. The face pics are a substantial invasion of privacy and a hard luck story doesn't justify it.

Your $0.02 are inaccurate Dave. You give up the right to privacy when you put yourself on the internet. When you put your photo out for public consumption, you have absolutely no right to say who does what with your photo. The limited access issue that comes with being "friends" with someone on facebook or myspace are only an attempt to provide the illusion of privacy. Privacy on the net is a complete myth.
 
I think the intent of the individual providing the photo initially must play some part in determining the morality of the situation. The girls he is posting face pics of on here didn't consent to their photograph being used in this specific way. I assume they posted it on facebook in good faith to share with a specific group of people that they chose.

Maybe it is naive of them to think that no-one would abuse that but unless someone does them the courtesy of asking their permission then we'll never know how they truly feel. Although I think the OPs posts indicate that they wouldn't be best pleased with him if they found out and he knows it.

Just because you can do something and get away with it doesn't mean you are morally justified in doing it. Fine, the guy probably wont get caught out and depending upon the conditions the girls signed up to on facebook he might have legal cover too (I don't know, I don't use it) but that doesn't stop it being an abuse of trust. Knowingly using their image in a way he thinks they wouldn't approve of is amoral, thats the part I dislike.

Anyway, I probably wont be visiting this thread again. I've said my piece. Debates about privacy and intellectual property on the internet will have to wait for another day.
 
I warned you in the beginning to think twice about posting any pictures of their faces.

And I was right to assume I wasn't the only one who thought it was wrong.
 
Skulls and E-Dave are right. I shouldn't have I done what I did, although when I first did it, I thought otherwise. I apologize to everyone who became part of a discussion of right/wrong. Next time I post something, I will make a better decision. I removed the pics I had up, and won't be posting anymore. I hope no one thinks I'm a complete jerk because all I did was make a mistake.
