Fake FB Profiles

I've been applying for some fb groups and I've notice that there are too many female tickling or foot lovers. Which is pretty wierd for me considering the time I'd been into tickling.


Do you think as myself that they are guys pretending to be girls?

What rhiannon said is very very true. SO goes the internet. It is what it is. Facebook does police accounts thereon. They can't catch everyone every day but they do try to keep it safe and clean. Policing and verifying the gender of each member is impossible. Just like with anything on the internet in this field, you roll the dice. Sometimes you get that 7 or 11, sometimes you roll snake eyes.

Definitely true. The internet is full of fake people. Shoot, I'm sure tons of "females" in here are actually males.

Your best bet will always be just to get out into the world, work on overcoming your shyness (it gets easier with practice, believe me) and interact with people who are obviously female. Then gently introduce them to your hobby. It always gave me a far better and quicker chance, and if I was unsuccessful I had the consolation of (a) sometimes sleeping with them anyway and (b) of knowing that this is probably the most harmless of perversions.

To answer your question, yes, of course there are people with fake FB profiles pretending to be females who are males. The same is true on this site, and all over the internet. I'm a male, by the way, and people who have talked to me from this site, and met me, can confirm that. I never claim to be something I'm not. 43 year old straight white male, that is me. .

My advice, just talk to people, and don't worry about it. If you DO encounter someone you like.. the following needs to happen.

As quickly as possible, within... a week.. or two.. you need to make confirmation of that person;s identity, via phone, and webcam, and set up a meeting as soon as possible. If they refuse.. move on.

Those who know me know the situation I'm referring to. I didn't heed this advice, and allowed myself to get dragged along, by someone who claimed they were female.. and who I now have every reason to believe was a male, and who proceeded to drop out on me, at a very difficult time in my life.

Just talk to people, and have fun. If you do find someone who you want to take things further with, follow the advice I gave you, and which I didn't follow, to my own detriment. I've heard of people who do actually meet partners on sites like Facebook or this one, but caution and good judgement, which I didn't do, need to be exercised.

One other point I want to make, and of course I wont use any names, so this shouldn't be a problem.

There is someone I used to know on this site.., (a different person from the one who jerked me around) who every time I would talk to someone in the chat room who was new, and said they were a girl, this person would send me an uninvited private chat window and always say "Mitch, Jane Doe (Whatever the girl's name I was talking to was) is a fake female". Maybe that person thought they were being concerned about me.. but.. after a while.. of trying to get this person to stop doing that, I eventually had to put them on ignore in the chatroom.

To me, there's a difference between caution, and paranoia.

First, seek outside voluntary intervention and therapy; secondly, honesty and empathy(from you onto yourself and from others) - is tough, but you can achieve empathy thru objective logic and reasoning. This is why i've never been a huge fan of social media. Besides the fake account crap that tends to happen alot I honestly don't feel the need to tell everyone I know what i'm doing during my day. The he said/she said drama that occurs 100 times a day on FB isn't really necessary either. Blah.

I am honestly glad that we didn't have private internet when I still went to highschool. 🙂 When it comes to Facebook - I mostly use it for gaming and keep out of online-drama. The real life drama is bad enough!
