I don't have any tailgate BBQ recipes per se, but I WILL recommend marinating your meats (chicken, veal or beef) in Italian dressing. I just had a taste of an incredible '5-Cheese Italian Vinaigrette'--forgot brand. Damn, that was good!

'Know what also works? Mix olive oil, sm. clove of garlic, dash of lemon juice and bit of balsamic vinegar, for a FANTASTIC marinade. Yummy! Poke a breast of chicken with a pitch fork, douse it with the marinades for 1 hr, then grill--yum-yum!
 
Oh, man, I love anything having to do with cheese... except, ironically enough... feet. (I know, people are talking about food here)

Keeping on the subject of recipes, ahem


Lemon zinger pound cake

follow recipe of baking cake in loaf cake pan

then in a small pot, add 1 cup of water
2 tsp of lemon extract
3 tsp of lemon zest

when cake is done, flip out of pan to cool, then bring ingredients in pot to boil. When done

with a big spoon, ladel over cake. The hot liquid inside will keep cake unbelievably moist and flavorful


Then let cake cool for about 30-45 min.
