Flank Steak soaked in a marinade with the following ingredients:

Teryiaki Sauce
A full beer (preferable a lite beer so it's not too overpowering)
Garlic
Honey
Dijon Mustard
A tad of soy sauce

This also works well with boneless chicken breast or london broil, but, personally, it is best with flank steak cuz it's not tot thick.

for best results, have it sit in the marinade over night so the juices can penetrate the meat.

Whenever the Holidays roll around, my Mom prepares the following delicacy which has guests lining up outside the door waiting to get to it before it disappears. It's easy to make and you'll love the way it tastes: Mom's Wonderful Guacamole Dip! Ingredients: 2 large avocados. 8 oz. sour cream. 1 small can of diced green chiles. 1/2 cup chopped onions. 1 medium tomato, chopped. Dash of Tabasco. A pinch of garlic salt. Mash the 2 large avocados in a separate bowl. Combine the other ingredients, add to the avocados and mix. Add salt to taste. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips and enjoy! I hope she didn't leave anything out, like a secret ingredient only she knows about. Let me know how you like it!

I have a similar recipe!

Only my recipe uses:

Soy sauce
Sherry (the type you would drink, NOT cooking sherry!)
Ginger
Garlic
Honey
a pinch of dry mustard

It also works with salmon filets, but you can't marinate those overnight; just an hour or so. (I'm a vegetarian, but I still eat seafood...just couldn't give it up! 🙂 )

I'm going to try your recipe, giantfan. I think a cookout is in order. 🙂

mmmmm

lite, that sounds good. Am I invited? 😀

My personal fave for salmon fillets is Soy Vay (Very Teriyaki brand). Comes out awesome. Just the Soy Vay and nothing else. I have to try yours though, I may have a new come soon. Thanks for the recipe

"Good goobily goo" is what Fred Sanford's friend Grady used to say all of the time on "Sanford & Son", the 70's TV show. I was just being weird.

I already know you're weird 😛
And I know Sanford and Son too "Look out Elizabeth..." (Damn child, think I lived in a CAVE as a kid???)😛

XOXO

There oughta be a recipe for some kind of topping to put on feet so they're delicious to lick. I mean, chocolate sauce is cool, but I like to be creative!

Check out the Jessica Simpson line honey~YUMMY!

XOXO

You've mentioned that a lot... I'm just gonna have to by some. Does it have a picture of her feet on the label?

Sorry to disappoint honey~nope. Her name isn't even on the packaging. It's actual rather tastefully done, despite it's naughty nature...

I use Cool Whip every now and then, Giantfan. I'm looking for something that's as much fun to put on the lady's feet as it is to lick off. By the way, I didn't notice if you got your red feather yet... hold on... Man, you've only got seven more posts to go! Let's help him out, everyone!

I give you 15 minutes. I don't want to hijack Steph's thread, so let's talk recipes... anyone try the whole grain Coco Puffs yet?

OK, back to recipes. One of my personal favorites is making hamgurgers with Lipton Onion Soup.

Take 2 pounds of ground beef, a package of Liption Onion soup, and 1/4 cup of water. Mix ingredients and shape into patties. Cook on the BBQ till med rare (my preference). Stock up on the napkins cuz they come out JUICY. Reminds me of the Wendy's commercial aired in the 70's.

Not the most original recipe but it's one of my favorites. Hey, you asked

i have a simple appetizer:

deli ham (or turkey whichever your preference)

cream cheese

dill pickles

take the deli ham, spread cream cheese on the deli ham and roll the dill pickle up in it....THEN cut it so that it makes little round roll up type things...i usually make this for new year's eve and there's never any left by the end of the night.
