HELLOOOOO...JIM NORTON Rich Minervini, Joey Kola, Nick DiPalo, Bobby Collins, David Brenner, Seinfeld?, and how can I forget...my brother Bily Bingo :yayzorz: and probably dozens of other very good comics I have seen through the years.
 
George Carlin.

My father in law apparently watches Jeff Dunham all the time. So much so that my dear, sweet, wonderful Spawn child ran around calling everyone an asshole for a week.

Good list. Carlin would be my #1, and Rock, Black and Williams would also be on there too.

I'd also round out my top 5 with Jerry Seinfeld.
 
Chris Tucker, Chris Rock, Eddie Griffin, Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence, Bernie Mac, Steve Harvey, DL Hughley.

But I have been getting into Bill Engvall, Ron White, Dane Cook, Jeff Foxworthy and yes, Larry the Cable guy.

I love comedy....

the must listens are george carlin and bill hicks. not only hilarious, but very important. those two were HUGE influences on my life.

In terms of stand up? George Carlin, shame he died, and Christopher Titus. If you don't know who either of those two, please go educate yourself ASAP as you are missing out. Also, Robin Williams Live on Broadway is hilariously awesome.

but Carol Burnett belongs on this list, one of the funniest people in the world.

Daniel Tosh is a riot, as far as current comedians go. Lewis Black's rants still crack me up, too. All-time? George Carlin, man. I loved that old hippie. Bernie Mac was damned funny as well.

I couldn't agree more!! Jeff Dunham is the ONLY comedian I can watch over and over again and still laugh my ass off everytime - Or maybe I just amuse easily, that's a possibility too :woot:

Sadly, it's easy to forget him given that he died so many years back. But you're right, the man was a riot. :toast:

He used to have a pretty funny bit about "joke grenades" ....... jokes that initiate a delayed audience reaction.
