This includes anyone, bands, solo artists, anything.

My all time favorite musical artist is by far Seal...his music really taps into my emotions...his songs remind us that though we may not be able to empathize with others, we can always empathize with ourselves....he sang what in my mind, is the greatest song ever written, "Kissed by a Rose" ....I would love to meet him someday.

He has a fantastic voice...I reccomend his greatest hits album, it has all of the masterpieces...😎

What about you guys?

James Galway, my personal inspiration when many year ago I was considering a lifepath in that direction. Two years ago, I had the pleasure of a front row seat when he played with Kauspeter Seibel as conductor. I was within 5 feet of him as he played! At one point in the music, I was simply crying like a baby and while resting he gave me a wink and a nod. It was a dream come true. He'll be here again on St. Patricks day. So, it may be a double dream!

Yo-Yo Ma because one could sit for hours and listen to his cello tell you the story of your own life and it would never miss a beat.

The Beatles, of course. They've been my favorites ever since I first heard their music back in the 60s. (Yeah, I'm THAT old!) I sort of felt attuned to them, and a few hours before John Lennon died, I had a 'premonition' while listening to "Sgt. Pepper" and John's "Sometime In New York City" album. I love their music, I love each of them... they're like family to me.

I think maybe Tori Amos, who I had the pleasure of seeing in concert earlier this year. For being so beautiful, so deeply disturbed and unashamed about it, so intelligent, so different and so damn talented. Every song sounds and feels like a masterpiece to me.

XOXO

I'd have to say as far as R&B and funk goes, Prince is my all-time favorite. Never has an artist had so many hits, over a generation😀

Long live His Royal Badness

For me,my all time faves are " Yes" and
Jimmy Buffett..two different genres of music but loved just the same..

Judas Priest or King Diamond. Judas Priest just released a new CD Angel of Retribution with reunited singer Rob Halford which rules! Plus im going to see King Diamond in concert April 19th. If anyone knows of Judas Priest 2005 US tour dates send em my way please. Thanks. 😎

Iron Maiden was my fave, growing up in the 80's.
Now, have to say (even though they have been disbanded for a bit) - is the Headstones. Seen them live many times, interviewed them, drank with them. Hugh Dillon is a great song-writer, frontman, and actor.
Honourable mention to - Metallica, Leona Naess.

Seal... Such a good artist... His latest album is my favorite.

My actual favorite group is U2. Their latest is pretty good too; it's no Achtung Baby, but "How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb" is the best thing I've heard from them ever since then.

Tori Amos released "The Beekeeper" a little while ago, and it's good to hear her get back to some good songwriting. "Scarlet's Walk" and that cover album she did were just awful. Most of her 90s material is far better than her recent stuff, but "The Beekeeper" seems to imply that Tori is returning to greatness....
